No idea how many words. | This class was a late afternoon class, a sigh escaped her as she stood at the front, then she looked at the textbooks (which were rather thin) and went around setting them out, along with a piece of paper that had a couple of questions on it in big black bold text.
What are your top three Supernatural creatures? What is your favourite Supernatural related story?
Now she waited. This class may or may not be as simple as it seemed. She already had a few things written up on the board.
My name is Noe Naruha, you can either call me Noe or Miss Naruha, I don't care which you use. I'll be your teacher for this year. I do hope we get along. Here's the class rules:-
• No eating sweets, candy, chocolate in class.... Unless you've brought enough to share. ☺ • You can drink and eat breakfast in here just make sure your rubbish goes in the bin. If you don't put it in the bin, this privilege will be removed. • Respect your fellow students. • Don't vandalize the classroom. • No sleeping in class, or you'll find a board rubber hitting you.
This class is very much dependant on your input, what you need to know is that we'll be studying supernatural races and creatures, urban legends and we'll be studying representations of the supernatural in popular culture and literature. I expect everyone in this class to be getting a B at least, it's not difficult work and there's only two in class sessions. Other sessions will take place around areas such as the old building and the city cemetery.
There will be an end of class exam which you'll take once the main classes are finished with and you will be required to put together either a short story about your favourite creature or a project on your own investigations, you may get outside help from other students or teachers if you want them to help with your investigations.
All she had to do was sit and wait for her class to arrive, when one of them did? She waved.
"Welcome to supernatural studies, just take note of what's on the board and we should get along just fine."

in a dream i was alive. Creed was grateful for the afternoon classes, especially since he had the habit of sleeping in during the mornings. Well, when he actually slept it that was. He'd taken a short nap in-between the time he'd been stuck on the computer and when he was supposed to show up for supernatural studies. He had the same teacher for this class as he did for weapons history and that class was enjoyable enough. It was all about learning what people were probably going to one day use to kill him. Stepping into the classroom he gave a small nod to Miss Naruha and made his way to the back of the classroom.
While the rules on the board were the same the writing underneath was different. Also there seemed to be a small pre-assignment on the piece of paper in front of him as well. He knew that the supernatural fanfiction he read probably didn't count as a supernatural story so he could just count that as an answer he couldn't write down. Pulling a pencil out of his bag he chewed on the end of it while he thought about potential answers. After all he had no idea if they would be expected to answer this out loud after everyone was present and if they were then what answers would be the least likely to get something thrown at him.
Most guys would probably answer with something like dragons or the like but to be honest he had little interest in those at all. Most of the other students probably wouldn't have this sort of crisis with just this first miniature assignment and his internal struggle showed on his face slightly. His teacher was probably going to think he was an idiot or something due to this entire thing. | tagged: notes: !w/e! |

No idea how many words. | "You're looking a bit tense over there Creed~" She smiled at him from where she was and she actually got out of her seat to get up and go sit at the back with him for a moment so they could have a chat.
"The answers can be annnnyyything you want, could even be something you made up yourself if you really wanted. After all a lot of supernatural things are just... Made up... Some may exist but others don't. Like how all vampires are allergic to sunlight. A lot of them aren't, heck some even like churches which is probably strange in retrospect." Slipping out of her seat she patted him on the head rather gently.
"Just try to relax a bit and you'll find things are a bit easier to deal with." Now that was up in the air she headed back down to her seat behind her desk and she quickly flipped through a few pages of the books she had.

in a dream i was alive. He lifted his head from the paper whenever he heard Miss Naruha speak. Of course he was looking tense. Anything that could potentially involve going in front of the class and giving answers made him tense. He sat back in his seat a little bit whenever she came into his space. He was almost getting used to the fact that she probably wasn't going to yell at him for existing and that in itself was a good thing. What he wasn't expecting was for her to actually touch him. Even a simple pat on the head made him tense up slightly and while it was involuntary it was probably slightly noticeable. "...we won't have to read it out loud will we?" If they didn't then he could probably find the ability to relax somewhat. That meant that he wouldn't have to worry about being mocked by anyone other than her. Then again she didn't seem like the type... | tagged: notes: !w/e! |

► nyth turace open words notes | The small boy had been roaming around at all his other classes. Then he just managed to find some small window of break time before his next class. The one he really wanted to go to at this point. Nyth fixed his book bag then walked towards the classroom, maybe he'd be lucky. No one would be there yet. Or very few people would be. He was always living with Rowe, and his dragon papa. He almost didn't even know anything else. So this school was really new to him. In like ten different ways, but was it important? Nyth shook it off as he pinned the green hair back behind his ears. He would walk into the classroom, then glance at the board. This classroom seemed peaceful so far. But there was also barely any students in it. So that wasn't that surprising at this point.
He made sure to read the board before looking around where to sit. This couldn't be so bad, school was good. He could make friends, he'd be able to learn. And he still had Rowe. So it should have been a win all around. Since his family was only two people, if he counted Rowe's boyfriend. But he tried to stop from chewing his lip as he settled down on the seat. He looked down at the paper in front of him and thought of how to fill this out. He knew what he wanted, Nyth was not that picky though. As long as he got to learn nothing else mattered to him. The teacher seemed nice, she didn't seem to bother him. Or anything.
For now he tried to think of what to put on his paper. What could he end up saying at this point. It might not matter much but still he was a bit curious. Just what could he end up saying. Where would this end up taking him at that? He had a feeling this might not be right, or anything. He was not entirely certain on how this was supposed to go? After all, what good would it do for him to just dwell on such things. Nyth thought about to put on his paper after muttering a small hi to the teacher and the other student in the room.
This class had a good feel to it. Nyth wouldn't need to be uncomfortable or so he actually thought anyway. He let the teacher and the student talk as he did his own thing. Trying to figure out what he wanted to put on the sheet.

To be perfectly fair and honest, this class was one she took to sate her curious side. She wanted to see how people taught about the Supernatural, she wanted to see how the students would react, and of course she wanted to know just what they would be getting into with a class like this. Mainly because there was a lot that could be done with something like this. That is if the people played it right. Then again there was a good chance that they would only focus on certain things more than others. But even still, anything is far better than nothing as they say. And much like the other times that she was going to class, she took her time getting there. Not to say that she was trying to be late, she just didn't want to rush there or anything. She was going at her own pace, and while she hadn't been the first at her other classes, she certainly hadn't been the last to any of them. Well perhaps that might have been one, but that was just a small little thing that could be overlooked, right? It wouldn't really look -too- bad on the records and all of that. After all even honor student types would be late to at least one class in their lives, so it should be fine for someone like her.
Though upon getting into the room she would look around and notice a student that she had seen in some of her other classes, if she remembered correctly the young man's name was Creed. So at least she knew one of the people that would be in this class, then she would look at the board and take all the information that was there into her mind, but she figured it would be best to write it down either way, just in case she would need to review it later. That being said, she took a seat and started to copy down what was on the board and once that was done? She'd look up from the notebook and then to the people that were here. "I know I've already met Creed in other classes, but hello to you others~ I'm Reiko and I'm rather looking forward to this class~ If only to see where it goes and what happens with it. From what I see on the board there it seems like Miss Naruha has a good grasp on what she wants done~" And there really wasn't much else for her to say at that time. Perhaps if they were struggling to come up with something to look into she might be able to come up with something for them to poke at. After all, she had seen quite the many things in her time.

Viktor made his way to the supernatural studies classroom. This should be an interesting class seeing what myths there were that people believed about vampires. As well as some of the myths that existed for other races. The more common myths of vampires had always amused him at least to an extent. Although it was true that some of those myths were close to the truth. It was also true that well there were vampires like himself that weren't bothered by the sun some others were.
He looked at the board and took note of the other students that were in the class. He then made his way to a seat and looked at the assignment."Well this is a rather interesting assignment."

TAGS♥ @the class NOTES♥ words MUSIC♥ what you're listening too Sting made his way to his afternoon class which happened to be Supernatural Studies. He was glad this one wasn't up in a tower like the other one. Not that he had a problem with the tower he just didn't want to have to climb all those stairs again. Though odds were he probably would have to. After all he did have another class with Arran that was likely in that tower.
As he made it into the room he noticed that he was the last one. "Hey sorry for being late I kind of got lost. It shouldn't happen again." With that he went and took his seat.

No idea how many words. | "...we won't have to read it out loud will we?" As she was about to answer someone else came in and settled themselves.
"I'll answer that question when everyone arrives." She replied and she waited next to arrive was the fox lady.
"I know I've already met Creed in other classes, but hello to you others~ I'm Reiko and I'm rather looking forward to this class~ If only to see where it goes and what happens with it. From what I see on the board there it seems like Miss Naruha has a good grasp on what she wants done~" At that Noe waved the woman was already sat down in her seat so Noe didn't need to actually tell her to go and sit down or anything which was useful. So that left two more people to arrive. Watching as the next person entered and sat down she waited for them to say... Something. Anything at all.
"Well this is a rather interesting assignment." There we go, they said something at least, she'd have something to say in response to them and she looked at the clock on the wall for a moment.
"Hey sorry for being late I kind of got lost. It shouldn't happen again." A young man with blonde hair now came in and off he went to take his seat. Up Noe stood.
"First of all I'd just like to say five or ten minutes late? Is fine. So long as you turn up? I don't necessarily mind you being late so long as it's not stupidly late. Now, Creed asked me earlier if you need to actually stand up in front of class and talk about the answers you give for those two questions on the paper before you. If you don't want to? I won't force you however you will need to prepare yourself for your projects and how you're going to present them to class at the end of the semester. Now if you need help? Then you can always practice it with me or you can practice with friends. If you really have to? You can always record it as a sort of video documentary that way you're talking on the video and you can avoid standing up in front of everyone." She stated and she now sat back in her seat.
"So when you're all ready, feel free to write your answers down on the same piece of paper as the questions, don't forget to put your name at the top, just so I know whose is whose. Oh and does anyone have any questions before we actually get in to all of this?" She'd wait and answer any questions that were needed to be answered other than that though she didn't see any problems with the students so far.

in a dream i was alive. Finally everyone else was here and he couldn't help but lift his head up to see who else was going to be in here with him. The fox female from his sex education class was here as well... He wondered exactly how many classes he had with the same people. After all they had to have some different classes, right? Turning his attention to the teacher once more he let out a small sigh of relief that he wasn't going to have to read these answers out loud. Other projects he would figure out later on but for now he could deal with just writing these out. After that was answered that was all he really needed to know. Then again there was always the question on if two of his answers were actually the same thing... It was better to be on the safe side. Scribbling his name on the top he went to fill in the answers. 'Faeries... Mermaids..." Shit what else was he supposed to write down? Skipping to the second question he scribbled in an answer quickly. 'Tithe by Holly Black' Sure it was fiction but that was the point wasn't it? Write down your favorite supernatural story and whatnot. | tagged: notes: !w/e! |

TAGS♥ @the peoples in the class NOTES♥ words MUSIC♥ what you're listening too Sting tapped his pencil against his desk momentarily as he thought about which supernatural creatures to list. Dragons was the first one he had put on his list. Now he just needed to think of two more. His next choice was vampires though they didn't really interest him overly much he did need a second and third choice. The final creature he listed was imps that was honestly the best he could think of. He put Bram Stoker's Dracula as his favorite supernatural story since he hadn't really read that many.

For some reason the fox woman had found herself being rather interested in this teacher. Then again it might be that they were rather easy on the eyes but she really didn't know, but that wasn't something that should be addressed right now. In fact there was already something that needed to be focused on and that was the paper that was there that she needed to answer. There were too many stories that she had heard and read to really pick one but for the creatures? That caused her head to tilt and her ears flicked a bit as she thought about it. There were a few that she wanted to poke at, but she wasn't sure if she should really put them down on the paper or not. But it was an honest question and it needed to have an honest answer, right? Right. So she would think about it a little bit more and then she would slowly start to write down her answers on the paper that was there. After all it was a good way to start the class, get to know what the people wanna learn about and everything else. Though she did find herself looking up at the teacher from time to time as she was thinking and then her hand wrote the answers.
On the paper her choices were: Dyrads, Sirens, and the last thing on there were Stayrs. Perhaps odd choices but she wasn't really a normal person either. And then she actually wrote that she had heard too many stories over her time to pick just once, and that she hoped that wasn't going to make things harder or make things be weird because she couldn't narrow it down.

► nyth turace open words notes | What could he do? This was already strange, he wasn't so bothered by the class though. He could learn to accept these students, at least. For awhile. Nyth didn't have it that hard off now did he? Apparently. But the teacher would have plans for them soon enough, and Nyth was still trying to figure out what to put on that paper. Since it was probably something important. More or less this was something he needed to focus on. What would he put on the paper? There was a lot of things he wanted to learn about. At this point Nyth couldn't pick just one even if he actually tried to do so. The girl that spoke made him squeak, it had caught him off guard. Mostly because Nyth had been scribbling on his paper. Making notes of beasts he wanted to know again.
Legends and so on that he wanted to learn. Since this was one of those things he liked. But he'd rather not get distracted, so he just thought about it. What would he say? Maybe he could learn about griffins, or sirens. Or dragon based creatures like his father. Even if his father was gone he still wanted to learn more and more about them pretty much. He was not going to change his mind no matter how much he missed his papa. Which clearly was a lot by this point. He scribbled out the words again and started erasing the markings he left behind on the paper. Nyth needed to stop thinking way too hard. Not like it'd do him any good. At least the teacher wasn't making them speak out loud.
Nyth just scribbled his wants down. The Dragon one, then what else? He had one but the ideas were too hard to ignore. At least that was what he thought right now. Nyth felt just a bit out of place right now. Couldn't be too surprising though really. So he didn't respond, he had no questions. He'd just let other people ask. He would still try to figure out what else to add to his paper while letting the other people talk right now. As for the second one he was still thinking over that one. It was so hard to pick his favorite story most of his were dragon related. Probably because of his papa. He'd just go back to that one later.

The first thing Viktor put on his lis after his name was Griffons. The next creature to go on his list were Fairies. The final ones on the list were the demons. The reason for the last one being on the list was a little more personal though. It still counted towards the assignment though. For Supernatural stories he put down, Axe Murder Hollow. There that should suffice for the assignment that they were given. Or at least he hoped it would. After all he wasn't really sure what else he could put there. With that done he set his pencil down and waited for further instructions from the teacher.

No idea how many words. | She was met with silence. It seemed that no one had any questions for her right now which was... Odd. She'd expected at least one question. So for now she stood back and listened to the scratching of pens and pencils to paper. Once everyone looked like they were done she smiled.
"Okay so, I'd like people to stand up, then I'd like you all in turn to explain why you put the creature you did at number one on that list, why is it the first thing that comes to mind." She turned to the board and then quickly scribbled down a few things. Minotaur, Jörmungandr and Unicorn.
"Okay so, I put the Minotaur as my first option because the story of the Minotaur always intrigued me after I found out about it, I've also got a thing for Greek myths. Now Jörmungandr is on there because I find it's story to be... Rather... Dark, then again a lot of Norse myth is dark, examples include Fenrir, Valkyries jobs and Loki. The Unicorn, as silly as this sounds is there on my list because I always thought they were real as a small child. So... Who wants to go next? If you don't want to take part in this that's fine, just write your answer down on the paper and say outloud that you don't want to talk about why." She asked with a smile and then before anyone could say anything or stand up she shook her head.
"Oh I almost forgot the story you've picked? You'll be doing research on it. If you haven't bothered to write one down? You automatically forfeit your homework and fail it. Your research should include things such as why you personally think the author wrote the story that they did." She smiled and then she waited.
