| The first thing this group might notice upon entering the mines was the fact that it was dark, there were lights here and there but since they'd been abandoned not all the torches were lit, their magic spells having worn over time. Their task however was to save a child from beasts that had retreated in to the mines. These creatures had slipped in to Eden unnoticed mostly, one or two people had however reported seeing a small child being lead in to the mines by the creatures that had taken refuge in there. The clock was ticking. Who knows how long it'd be before something terrible happened? The only problem was the amount of gemstone in this mine alone. Maybe the creatures were mining it for themselves, stealing from this country and selling the gemstone on the black market. Or even worse. Maybe they had children doing the work for them in here. Only time would tell. Perhaps there was much more to this than met the eye. They had a choice as they moved in to the mines. There were THREE paths to take. One of which had a mine cart and track. So they could go, left, right or straight ahead, the path straight ahead had the mine cart and track. The mines in general however were large enough that four grown men of about seven or eight feet tall while being rather large in width could walk side by side with plenty of room to spare. So the team shouldn't have any movement issues if it came to a fight.

Veyron tilted his hat forward, making a shadow on half of his face. The gesture made his eyes stand out in the small amount of shadow that the hat provided. He glanced at the mines that were completely empty. There was almost no light coming from those mines, things were scattered on the outside gates, as if no one had been in these mines for a very long time. Veyron however was not worried, he couldn't be worried after all he had to remain focus on what his task was. There was a child that needed his and his partner's help in getting rescued. The child was led to this abandoned mines, at least that was what the report he got said.
Veyron tried to feel for his weapons before he remembered that he didn't have them. His guns were back at the Academy, not a smart move on his part but it had to be done. As a teacher he was aware of his surrounding and resourceful. If he wasn't then he would have been a failure of a teacher. He glanced back to see if his partners were there before heading into the mines to see a little bit of the interior. As Veyron's eyes got adjusted to the dark that the mines offered he noticed what was he dealing with. It was very spacious, as a source of gemstones at one time it had to be for mines to work in. Though as he looked around he noticed a single problem that was already ahead of them. Three paths were present, each one leading to who knows where and Veyron couldn't help the small twitch of his hands. "This sucks, a roulette right at the start.... so what do we do now choice of the draw?"
At the very least he had room to fight if there was any need to, which he would have to fight in order to save the hostage deep within these mines.

Well it was time to get all of this going, it was time to go into the mines and see just what was down there and waiting. Though there was something about going underground and everything that got to her a bit, but there was really nothing she could do about it. Then again it might not be so bad down there, after all these places did need to be big enough for a lot of people to be able to move around in, and with that she nodded her head, that was all she really needed to think about. Well that wasn't true. Her mind, her thoughts, everything was focused on trying to help that child that was down in these mines. That was the main thing that needed to be focused on. Saving that child, making sure to get there in time to at least try to make a difference. But it seemed that it was a little dark down here, the fact of how old the place was, that was probably one factor in it. But they could at least make do with what they had. It wasn't as if it was completely pitch black in here, so there was at least that bit.
Though everything was turning a little bad. It seemed that there were three ways to choose from for them to pick. That...Wasn't good. Then again it WAS a mine, so it would make sense that there would be more than one way to go and everything. But now they had to choose which way to go. Her tail flipped and flopped around behind her as she would look from path to path. The mine cart in the center might be faster than walking, but it would be rather loud and it would let whatever else was in the mines with them know that they were there. She then let out a bit of a sigh and then looked at the other that were there with her. "I don't think using the mine cart would be the best choice right away. It would cause too much noise. So one of the side paths might be a better idea...But that's just my thought. I don't really mind where we go so long as we get something done...I don't like the thought of that poor child being stuck in here." It might not be much, but at least she voiced her opinion. Hopefully that would help.
Actions: Voiced her opinions on where they should go.

Rune made his way to the mines where he and a couple others were going to go after monsters that had led a child into them. He could only imagine why they had done so. As he made his way in he saw the other two standing there, whom he was fairly certain he had seen them on campus, teachers perhaps? Either way had never met them personally. More importantly it was spacious if they needed to maneuver and fight and for him, lower light meaning he could actually see.
"This sucks, a roulette right at the start.... so what do we do now choice of the draw?" He first heard the male say, and a bit after the female saying "I don't think using the mine cart would be the best choice right away. It would cause too much noise. So one of the side paths might be a better idea...But that's just my thought. I don't really mind where we go so long as we get something done...I don't like the thought of that poor child being stuck in here."
"Well, I'd have to agree that the mine cart might attract too much attention, as to path's to choose, another story, given it could also be a sign that they have been using the center path and that they left this cart here. Albeit it goes the other way as well, that its been sitting forever because its not used." He said as he continued to look around. He then started to look at the floor more intently and inspect the mine cart as he said "would be a lot easier if we could even find one clue as to what way they went".
Actions: Started to look for clues as to what way they went

| Because no one made a genuine decision on where to go and they all stood around in the entrance they would now hear the pained screams of a child somewhere further in the mines. They NEEDED to move. No more dawdling or they'd be coming back empty handed... Or with limbs of what used to be a child. The Mine Cart started to move as some rocks came loose due to the screaming. That then carried on down it's rails and the screaming stopped, next came quiet whimpering and the faint call of 'I want my daddy.' in the mines. Of course it meant that now whatever was in the mines most likely knew the three were coming. Now they could either jump in to the mine cart before it gets up enough speed to get away or they could take the left or right path. Some one NEEDED to CHOOSE a way to go rather than just standing around while some poor child was probably dying deep in the mines. There was however now some rocks they could take with them for either distracting possible hostiles or braining something over the head.

As Rune looked for a sign on direction it was immediately interrupted as the sound of a child screaming echoed through the mines. Though as it reverberated through to where they were, it started to knock rocks loose which some of them knocked the cart rolling and the screaming stopped right after meaning either it was a hell of a coincidence, or they were suspicious of intruders and stopped what ever they were doing. Either way the racket of the mine cart would likely draw some attention. "Well, looks like looking for clues as to what way they went and stealth just went out the door" He said as he started to run for the mine cart, bending so often to scoop up a few rocks since they'd likely be useful to throw at anything....long as it wasn't a rock monster or the like. He put a hand on the cart to pull as he hoped up into it hopefully on the right track to where the child was so they could get there faster.
Actions: Abandoned trying to find clues as to what way they took the child, picked up some rocks, and jumped in the cart. Leeeeroooooyyyy Jeeeeeeenkins

This was not going the way she thought it was. It seemed none of them really made a choice, even though she gave the advice and gave her thoughts, she knew that she should have made a choice, but it really didn't matter at this point. Things were happening and the sounds of the yells and everything were really getting to her. She should have taken some form of action, but she didn't she just stood there hoping the other two would take action, but it seemed that they hadn't. And because of that the child was in even more danger. Though she did notice that the mine cart had started to move and that one of the males had started to gather rocks and headed right for the cart. That seemed to be the best option that they had right now, and because of that she was going to take it as well, they had to start moving, they had to do something, they had to help that child, and she wasn't going to wait around anymore. She felt like she had already failed, seeing as how she was a mother herself, she should have done something before this point, and yet she didn't. She already felt bad about that.
She would also notice the fact that the white haired male picked up some rocks and then she tilted her head, it was a good idea so she picked up a couple as well and then she followed and tried to get into the cart as well, however if she didn't fit, or if she would take up too much room she would try to fly behind it, or rather glide behind it and try to keep up with it so there would be enough room for the other male. She really didn't speak at this point because she was more focused on the task.
Actions: Picked up some rocks and went from the mine cart as well.

Veyron looked at the rocks that were on the floor when heard the cries. There wasn't anything else that he could have done but watch the others makes choice. He picked up some of the rocks on the way and jumped on the cart with the others. He was sure that they were about to make a grand entrance that was for sure. What else coud say about the situation. He wished more and more he had his gun by his side to keep him clutching to something. All he could feel on his side was the empty holster that was with him. There weren't any rocks for him to use and the ones that he picked he knew that it wouldn't make much of a difference.
He was with his peers, he had a job to do and to the gods he was going to complete that goal. It was all that was on his mind right now. The cave were big enough so if they happened to find a thing to fight then there wouldn't be a problem. He was going to fight with anything he finds along the way.

| With all of the group now acting and making a choice quickly they'd get in the cart and with their rocks in hand be ready for a possible assault. What they would find is they'd go down a track speeding up because it was down hill and eventually the cart would slow down a bit, to a normal speed. Warmth would be what they felt, humidity, if they looked outside of the cart they would see children. Not just one, but tens of hundreds, all working down here in the mines, malnourished, chained to their posts with little more than rags upon the floor on which to sleep. This operation was secretive and had been in action for the past six months. These children, just by the looks on their faces, it was easy to see they had lost all hope of escape. They weren't just human either, all different races, there was even a baby dragon tied up down here to keep the fires in furnaces burning. It was just as well that the school and government had sent people to investigate in the end. Or these poor souls might be trapped down here for years without anyone ever knowing. They could see the occassional troll like monster strolling around, some satyrs, demons, even an angel in the mix overseeing the mining. They had a choice, they could take these creatures head on by jumping out of the cart or wait till the cart reached it's end to jump out, they did also have their rocks they could throw if need be.

Rune held on to the edges as it picked up speed down the hill. He kept his head down as well just in case of an obstacle and popped it up when he suddenly felt the humidity change. That was when he saw it. Hundreds, Maybe thousands of children chained to posts, being forced to mine. Not any one race, any race, they'd even gotten their hands on a young dragon. And they looked to be barely fed. There was almost a growl from his throat as he bit down on his lip, drawing a bit of blood. The scream earlier had made him angry, this put him beyond rage. How could they get this many people unnoticed. that seemed illogical unless SOMEONE knew about it. Or it was his paranoia, but this many unnoticed.
He quickly stuffed the rocks he could in the opening of his top to try and secure them but free his hands up. He quickly and as quiet as possible went over the side and rolled to his feet, staying low as he could but moving as fast as he could and trying to stay out of sight lines toward the nearest of the monsters to the tracks. He pulled one of the rocks out with the intent that if he could get close enough without being spotted to bash it's head in with it. Otherwise, he'd throw it and start throwing the others he had. This was a bad time for his sword to begetting fixed and maintained, and aside from rocks, he had to either rely on what magic and the like he could use or try and get a weapon or at least something that could be used as one besides a rock.
Actions: attempting to be sneaky and bludgeon the nearest monster.

Veyron waited patiently as the mine cart led them deeper into the mines. He didn't know where they would be dropped off, for all he knew he would be dropped out at the other end of where the kid was. The other two didn't say a word so far, then again there was nothing to say. Each of them knew why they were here, they came on a mission to free someone from their captors. Even as he said that his hand went to the empty holster, he needed something to keep his hands occupied so he opted to hold the rocks he picked up and held a tight grip on them.
Finally they were coming to a slow motion, as if they were coming to a complete stop soon. What Veyron saw made his heart go deep down, his throat was as dry as a bone. Not just a child or two but many of them, each from different races from what he could tell. They were forced to mine in this place, they were forced to continue on and dig until their hands would fall off and soon after that the would be killed most likely. Veyron lowed his hat to hide his face from it, he wanted to hide his eyes from this. Not because he wanted to look away but to calm himself and not let others see the hatred in his eyes. However, going out of control wouldn't be the best option. If the other two wanted to go berserk then by all means they could. However he was only human, he was more useful to them and to the kids if he kept his cool.
As soon as the cart stopped he would jump out and begin to knock the first guard he saw. If he could find a gun then he would be better off. For now he would use what he had, a rock and his fists.
ACTIONS: Wait until cart stops before attacking.

| Now the group had split up. Aria and Veyron had travelled with the cart right to the end where as Rune had tried to attack already. RuneHe's knocked out one of the enemies but in doing so? Others have heard the commotion and now have turned to look for the culprit, upon spotting him they sound the alarm, most of the enemies on the same level have been drawn to where Rune is. He has a moment to dart in to the shadows and hide or he can take them head on. Either way he's now given Aria and Veyron enough time to get across the grounds and possibly start freeing some of the children. Aria and Veyron With Rune as a distraction they can either start fighting, they can free some of the young miners or they can go so far as to try and assist Rune from their current location. What do you all do?

Part one one of Rune's "brilliant" plan had worked, knocking out the nearest guard. However, the part of doing it quietly enough to not draw attention and see if there was a weapon to steal, not so much. And seeing as he was on his own, he bet against himself taking them all head on with just rocks and magic. He quickly looked at the surroundings and saw that there was some shadowed areas to try hiding in. He darted in to them and hoped there night and dark vision was poor enough to not see him, hopefully he could play cat and mouse with them long enough for the other two to come help him. Though hopefully there was some stuff they could do with most of these miserable cretins after him.
Actions: Hide in the shadows

To be perfectly honest there was too many emotions going through her head right now and that's the main reason as to why she really didn't do anything at first while being in the mine cart. There was just nothing that she could focus on long enough to do because seeing all of the young people like this, and then the baby dragon, oh that got her blood to start boiling. Though when it came to the cart making a full stop she decided it was time to move because she had to do something. And what did she do? She went and tried to use some of the rocks she had to break the shackles on some of the young ones, and then of course she tried to free the baby dragon. After all of that was complete she would turn to look at the people that were going after one of the males that she had arrived with. And while it might be a little dangerous to do this she moved to where she had as many of them in front of her as she could get, while making sure not to get either of her teammates or and of the children around the area either.
It was at this point that she would use her breath attack to try to either do some damage to the guards, or at least get them distracted so that the other male wasn't going to be pinned. It seemed like a foolish idea, but it was about the only thing that she could do to be able to try to help both the people she was with and saving a few of the children because she couldn't just sit by and do nothing, not when she was a mother herself and all of this was wrong on so many levels, it was still making her blood boil but she needed to try to focus on what she could do here and now.

Veyron had got out of the cart and thanks to the short guy he had had the chance to move towards the prisoners. He had to take into account who he was here for and who their opponents were. He was mostly useless as far as things were concerned, he needed a gun to fight and so far he didn't see anything. So he was going to do the next best thing, he was going to free whoever he could and defend them with his body. He might not have a gun but he had his fists. Veyorn and Instructor Astra, if he remembered correctly, moved to where the children were held. Veyron placed his index finger on his lips to signal them to be quiet. He began to attempt to free some of the children. He had nothing by a rock to free them so that was what he used.
He continued to scan his eyes for a gun of sorts, while he came to the first child and with the rock that he carried he struck the chains, trying to get them out. It was one of those times that he wished he had a different gemstone than he had now. His eyes still wondered, but not for a gun, he was looking for either some keys or maybe a switch that would release them. They had to have some way to unlock them, his mind wasn't kind enough to censor his own thoughts, if one of them died they had to get rid of the body somehow so they could replace that slave with another.
question is where would that key be located.
"Instructor Astra, there has to be some sort of key." Veyron said as he stood, He just hoped that their companion could just last a little longer. "This isn't going to get us far, unless we defeat them or find that key. Just keep an eye for it."
Veyron moved on to the next kid and tried to free them from their shackles. He still kept his eyes open for anything that could be of use. It was the best he could do at the moment. If it came to a battle of instinct he would have to rely on them for good measure. At least his eyes were better than average.
ACTIONS: Attempt to free some of the children, while keeping an eye on anything that could be of help.
