A Brief Outline
Welcome to Utopia, a Country of equality. Where each, man, woman and even children are treated as normal citizens regardless of their race or species, be it dragon, elf, werewolf, vampire, human or anything else. Though it has a a great deal of large Cities and there are many parts to it, Eden is the central city of the Utopia. This world which has aptly been named Gaia, has a great many continents and cities each as wonderful and unique as the next but Eden is the central city not because of how far ahead it is, no no, it's because of it's equality, because of how many people populate it, because in this crazy world it's a nice stable and equalized place where people can rise and fall all depending on their choices and how they live their lives. If they work hard and get a job then they'll easily survive but if they're lazy and don't put enough effort in to life they will fall and end up in the darker parts of the city, struggling to get by.
All in all, this city is very much like our own worlds cities only, a bit better.
It's the source of all the worlds gemstones, magic and other unique abilities that people may learn to harness . Something that not everyone is able to accomplish.
The Utopia Institute also known as Eden Academy is the most renown academy/Institute known in Utopia and was aptly named after the city itself. It is here that all gemstones originate, the gemstone mines deep below the academy are where the gemstones, which are only found in Eden, reside.
Due to the amount of outstanding citizens the academy has produced and the amount of people who have boasted it's value, Eden Academy is well known through out the world. People want to go there, want to send their children there although it isn't for everyone. It's a very laid back atmosphere where students of all kinds and teachers alike can mingle and build up friendships and alliances with one another. Where they can learn just how to socialize, how to go out and be an upstanding citizen and where they can learn to harness the magic of gemstones along side fighting.
Unfortunately not even Gaia is without trials and hindrances. The entire world is plagued by monsters and beasts, ones that are out to hurt and destroy people. These monsters will generally stay away from cities that are large. Though some get brave enough and will attack. The time that monsters roam freely through cities, towns and villages is during the night, the dark hours where people are sleeping safe in their homes. Eden and Utopia as a whole has it's knights and security making it a very safe place amongst the chaos of the outside world.
Some cities however weren't strong enough to fend off the hordes and beasts. Some even fought among themselves. They are but ruins now, nothing more than abandoned carcasses where people once lived. If you dare to visit these places, you may indeed find the bones of those who were once citizens of these cities, believing that they were safe... They say that Utopia is the worlds haven. Is Utopia really safe enough though? Will people truly grow strong in the academy as a student or teacher? Where are peoples lives headed? These are the questions we must ask ourselves.
