TAGS: Sting Eucliffe @rowe creed roberts Reiko Miko Alvin Solince @ri MUSE: Lazy NOTES: Class1 Well now, the academy tower, he was up there already, setting up the circular class room but nope. He wasn't using desks or tables or anything like that. Instead he had rather comfortable beanbags and huge fluffy cushions littering the room, some chairs were made of material and he after peering out of one of the few windows in this room flopped on a pile of cushions.
The room itself smelled oddly of fruit, then again that could be because of a few candles that were hovering around the room. Yes. Hovering. They weren't normal candles, instead they were fuelled by magic. A strange thing really. As good as technology was? It was no match for magic in the long run. At least not in Isdia. Maybe in other worlds technology was favoured over everything but here? Magic. Especially in Eden.
"Yooooo~ Sup? Take a seat 'n' relax while we wait fer the class ta show up." He didn't even bother opening his eyes as he greeted the person, such a strange teacher Arran was. It was hard to think that this was the same man that could when needed be colder than a freshly frozen lake. It was something odd. Something strange. Something that took the edge off or perhaps made that edge worse when it showed.
Slowly he finally opened one eye and looked toward the door and then the person who walked in to the room.
"... Somethin' wrong?" He slowly sat himself up instead of laying around. Maybe the room wasn't right? Maybe they just didn't know what to do with themselves? Who knew, Arran certainly didn't.
"If ya happen to be in any o' my other classes? Gemstones'll be up here, religious studies and this class all up here the computing class obviously in the computer labs." He smirked. Now to wait.

in a dream i was alive. Yet another class on his schedule that he had a repeat teacher for. At least he had met the weapon's history teacher beforehand though, even if it hadn't been under the best of circumstances. Still he was going to have to deal with going to her class and seeing that guy who had just served to make him feel like even more of an idiot from the entire thing even if he hadn't meant to. Either way now he was headed to a different class where he had no idea who or what to expect other than the fact that he was supposed to be learning about magic. Even with magic a scrawny kid like himself could eventually learn to defend himself, right?
At least that was his line of thinking. Then again he'd been wrong before and he would have bet that he would be wrong again, unsurprising if it was about this. Stepping into the class he noticed a distinct lack of... desks... Instead there seemed to be cushions and bean bag chairs collected around the room. He also wasn't quite sure if the other person in the room was the teacher, student teacher or even just an older student. Then again he had no idea who anyone at this school was really.
He'd stuck to core classes his first year and had left some of the stranger ones for later on so that when his parents had questions he wouldn't necessarily be obligated to answer them. After all telling them that he'd attended a class solely for learning some of the "devil's work" wasn't something he wanted to deal with. In fact it made his back sore just thinking about it. He wasn't sure what to say and even though the other person couldn't see him he simply nodded, trying to shrink a bit into his hoodie.
He looked around the classroom in an attempt to figure out where he was going to sit, figuring that the back of the classroom would be his best bet once more he just gave a small shake of his head and began muttering as he normally did. "Just figuring out where to sit..." There were going to be other classes held up here as well, meaning that he needed to pick a spot and stick to it and hope that he could get the spot in both classes. "Just gemstones..."
It was obvious that he was meaning in addition to the Magic 101 class as he sat down on one of the cushions. It was strange to be learning in such an informal environment and he pulled his knees up to his chest, resting his head on them and trying not to stare anywhere in particular though his eyes did end up wandering back to the other male in the room. Partially out of curiosity and partially out of figuring it was better than staring at the door. | tagged: notes: !w/e! |

TAGS♥ @everyone else in the class NOTES♥ words MUSIC♥ what you're listening too Sting made his way up to the tower classroom as quickly as he could. He didn't want to be the last one to arrive and give a bad impression. After all this was his first time being a student teacher. He assumed the reason the class on magic was up here was because it was away from the main body of the school, just incase something happened. After all most if not all of the people in this class were just learning how to use magic.
He looked around at the room and noticed that it was a more relaxed setting then most of the other class rooms. At least they'd all be comfortable which is what he was guessing the teacher was going for. "Um hey I'm Sting. I'll be your student teacher for this class." He was a little bit nervous and unsure of himself. He had never done this before and had signed up as student teacher because it'd be something new. He'd get to work with a teacher and hopefully learn lots of new stuff at the same time.

| She was late. She was so late. A rather slender figure charged across the academy grounds in a deep purple hoodie and a skirt that was short enough that people could see her underwear if they just slightly leaned to one side. She didn't give any fucks though, she was late and needed to get to her class NOW!
Skidding around a corner she had to leap over a railing or two, dive down some stairs bounce off a wall to get back on track and then charge across a couple of the academy roof tops, of course that meant she got closer and closer to the academy tower along the way and the class room? She could see it from the roof, the window wide open.
So?
It was time to be daring, but if she fell... God help her.
Taking a few steps back she took a running jump and she went clean in through the window whoever was in the room got a flash of black and she went in to a forwards roll all the way across the class room to the other side before she hit a wall and she flopped backwards with a huff.
"....Fuck you.... I made...It.... In time.... Yes." Slowly she got to her feet brushing her skirt down before she dug in her bag and pulled out a pair of jeans, then she kicked her shoes off and pulled those on,then pulled her shoes on. She was catching her breath and once able she started to explain.
"Sorry about that Sir. Just finished getting my uniform fitted. So I rushed over here. I was gonna be late otherwise.." She was on about her cheerleaders uniform. Then she spotted Sting.
Of course he's here before me. Couldn't get any more embarrassing if he wasn't. She thought before smiling at him, then she waved to the other student that was there.
"That shouldn't be a regular occurrence..."

There was something to be said at the fact that she took mostly classes that she really didn't need too much help with, and maybe that was a bad thing because she was taking up the slot that another student that needed it would be able to use. Though it was a little late to be thinking like that, as she was already on her way to the tower, which seemed to be a fitting place to have a class like this. She had to wonder what type of people might be part of this class, but as she was on her way she picked up the sound of someone running rather quickly, and that caused her to tilt her head as she saw the person running for the tower and she also saw that being in a skirt and running like you were on fire didn't really work out well, unless of course you wanted to give a little show to people. And then came the rest of the little show with the jump and everything else. This caused her to just blink and stare for a moment. Was she really going to be that late to the class or something? No matter, it just meant that she would need to get here a little faster next time. And thus she went to the tower and started making her way up.
Once she was up in the classroom she looked around and giggled softly. "Well then~ This place seems to be rather nice for a class like this. And really, miss that was quite the dangerous stunt you pulled~ Jumped through a window and everything. Part of me doubts that the teacher here would be too upset if you were a tiny bit late so long as you were safe~ Either way, I'm Reiko. So yes, hello there everyone~" She had at least seen a couple of the other people that were here, but that didn't stop her from getting the introductions out of the way and everything. Made it seem a little bit better than just standing there and looking around like a zombie or something. Then again as she stood there her tails darted around behind her and then she found a rather comfy spot and decided to sit down and relax a bit. She could get used to sitting in a place like this, or rather being in a place like this for a classroom. It was relaxing and rather comfy. And really that's all she could ask for in a classroom. Sadly not all of them were like this, but that made this one even better.

He was running a bit late a he knew it so it wasn't really any point in making it worse on himself. Alvin had been pacing down the hall with his shirt half-way on and a bagel placed firmly between his teeth as he mumbled something to himself that sounded like he was mentally ill. Not really paying attention to where he was going nor to what was around him, he bumped into a nearby wall and stopped for a moment dazed and utterly confused until he had pulled down his shirt fully and shook his head. With the Red and black shirt now fully on he began to eat the bagel faster, scarfing it down until he had successfully reached the outside and crossed over into a new building trying to run a bit faster but forgot he had been dragging his backpack.
With one swift movement he would kick the backpack into the air and grab it, setting his arms through it and taking off through the hallway like he was running away from a murderer. His black hair whipped around furiously as he reared a corner without slowly down until finally he had came towards the final stretch as he could see the room number and smiled but there was one little problem...he needed to stop and fast. He would past the door and slowly begin to stop until he had ran into the wall with a thud and stop in place as he sighed," So much for a good day," shaking his head he would walk into the classroom and looked at the students already in there,"Hi...im Alvin," removing the black and red strands from his face he would walk over to a window seat without saying much to anyone," This day..is gonna probably go bad," he mumbled to himself as he sat down slowly.

TAGS: Sting Eucliffe @rowe creed roberts Reiko Miko Alvin Solince @ri MUSE: Lazy NOTES: Class1 "Just figuring out where to sit..." Arran opened his eyes fully at this point.
"Just gemstones..." So the guy did have another class with him. That was good at least he'd have a student he had spoken too before in Gemstones. Though he did notice the guy sort of stuck to a corner and sort of didn't really talk much at all. A lot of students were quiet but this guy from the way he was seemed almost... Afraid? He didn't understand that.
"If ya don't mind... I'd like to talk t'ya after the lesson's over 'kay?" Arran stated as he sat there another student arrived. Sting Eucliffe if he recalled properly. Student teacher. Wasn't he in another of his classes as well?
"Um hey I'm Sting. I'll be your student teacher for this class."
"Oh I know who you are." Arran chuckled as he stretched a little. Then something amazing happened. Someone came flying in through the window and the boys who were in here including himself got flashed with underwear. She was pulling on a pair of pants when he looked over and she seemed happy to be there on time.
"Uh... Ya had another five minutes t'get here... Though that was pretty awesome." He chuckled as he stood up and headed for the window peering out of it.
"Didn't think anyone could make it that far y'know. Though... Y'can't do that everytime. 'Cause I don't want ya ta fall or anythin' all right?" He smiled. A giggle caught his attention and he turned to look at the fox woman, waving a hand at her absent mindedly.
So yes, hello there everyone~" He smiled at her and he was about to say something when another voice chimed in.
"Hi...im Alvin," A wave.
Sitting back down he waited for a while and he yawned.
"Okay we've all been waitin' fer like... ninety nine years... So let's get started right?" Up he stood bounding across the classroom though he tripped over a loose cushion and disappeared behind his desk with a thud. Climbing back to his feet with a chuckle he took a dry wipe marker to a white board.
"Okay so, lemme see. Creed's the kid in the corner, Rowe's the flasher, Sting's our class teach, we got a smexi fox lady named Reiko annnnnd uhhhhh half vampire named Alvin? Right? AmIright? So we're missing ... One of the Sinclair brothers... I'mma kick his ass later! BUT FOR NOW! Let's get started yeah? Who's with me on that? So! First question! Who actually has experience in magic at all? Guessing the fox lady does but anyone else?" He'd wait for an answer and then he'd start scrawling on the white board.
"First lesson is how we actually do it. So here's Bob. Say hi to Bob!" He pointed the stick figure he'd drawn on the white board.
"Now Bob here wants to cast a spell either usin' a gemstone or even using a skill or ability that's in a book. Now some people can't seem to manage ta get the right combination or they can't cast spells because they just flop their way through it all like a fish outta water. Bob is one of those people. Now he uses an incantation from a book and nothing happens so he just goes 'fuck it I can't do this' and gives up at the first hurdle. ..... Uhhhh Bobina on the other hand." He scribbled in some curls and stuck a skirt on the stick figure turning it in to a girl.
"Keeps on trying and eventually manages to cast something. She doesn't know how or why she's able to do it she just is!" He took a breath and then started drawing arrows and a big scribly circle in the middle of her.
"You need mana, chi, magic energy, bodily energy whatever the hell you wanna call it to cast magic. Everything and everyone has it but not everything or everyone knows how to use it properly. So you've got this energy, now how do we get that energy from point A-" He started and then drew a line from the squiggle to the ends of the arms. "-to point B? Any ideas anyone?"

in a dream i was alive. All of his classmates were, interesting. Reiko was in yet another one of the same classes as he was and so far that made three total. Then again maybe it wasn't that unusual. After all these were supposed to be popular classes to take and he was sort of surprised that he'd ended up in the first classes for them. Knowing his luck normally he would have gotten stuck waiting for the third or fourth class, not that it was necessarily a bad thing. It just felt good to be first for once. Human or not the other classmates he had were decidedly more impressive than he was.
It surprised him that the teacher wanted to see him after class over all of the people. Had he already fucked up? Maybe it was because he'd chosen this seat or because he was so quiet. As students filled in he also recognized that Alvin guy... He was the one that had been sitting in the library when he'd ended up falling. The information that he was half vampire startled him slightly. He'd accidentally bled all over the place in front of that guy in the library...
He wasn't really phased by the fact that a girl flashed her underwear in front of everyone, well except for the fact that she had come in through the window to do so. Finally it seemed as the class was going to start and he shifted a little bit whenever the teacher asked if any of them had dabbled in magic yet. "I have..." He was quiet when he said it but with how the classroom was set up he was still audible. He hadn't been counting on that.
It hadn't been much but he'd gone into the red zone and survived using a mixture of skills and a spell that he'd been working on. It wasn't much but it had worked. It probably would have been safer for him to sign up for one of the Red Zone or combat classes but since he wasn't really wanting to do the hunting part of the monsters for a living he felt that if he just did enough practice to get by then it wouldn't matter. He knew the answer to this question, then again there was more than one answer. Biting his lip he mulled over which one to give.
After all it was different depending on the person what would get them to be able to use magic. Maybe it would just be better if he didn't answer at all. After all there were other people in the classroom and they probably knew the answer. | tagged: notes: !w/e! |

It seemed like things were finally getting started and it was a little silly to see how the older male was trying to show the people how all of this worked. Though what they were saying did make a lot of sense, which showed that the old man knew what they were talking about. That much was good. And of course they hit the nail on the head when they said that she had knowledge about magic and everything like that. Of course she would have the knowledge of it, she'd been around it since she was just a pup, or rather a kit might have been the better term, but either way. She was still sat there in her spot, her ears flicking a bit as her tails started to sway and dance around almost as she was listening and she was wondering she what answer the old man was wanting. There was a few ways of doing it. After all, some people had the power in a more natural sense, born with it like her or other odd races and the like. Then there's people that use it from those stones and other little things like that. So she was trying to figure out just which answer the teacher was wanting.
"Well~ That depends on the answer you're fishing for old man~ Some can simply just channel the energy in a natural way, like a fountain uses water~ They can cause the energy to flow through their body like the fountain get the water to flow through the pipes, and then place it to the area that it comes to the surface~ And thus in this case the surface would be the spell~ Or rather the person using the spell focuses the energy to a certain point and then they release it. If they channel too much or hold it for too long it could actually backfire. However if they use something like your Gemstones and the like they need to cause the flow of energy to go to the stone and then release it from there. To do so changes from person to person. Some can do it by focusing on the course of energy and channel it that way, other ways are tied to emotion, and even more are tied to the area around them. ...But I suppose that would be advanced classes some my apologizes if I missed the point~"
Honestly she might have missed everything that the old man was wanting to get into the air, but that's why there were more people here. At least she gave some examples and to that? She giggled softly and held her hand up and then a blue orb of energy formed and floated above her hand and then she let it vanish away just as fast as she summoned it and then winked a bit. She knew what she was doing, that much was for sure, but putting the actions into words wasn't really something she was too skilled in. Sure if she could write it all down she could do that without trouble, but putting it to words...That really wasn't her strong suit it seemed. So she had to wait to see how the others would handle all of this.

Alvin relaxed in his seat as the teacher began to make sure everyone was there calling names and interesting things about the other students although he rose a brow slightly as he mentioned the other stuff. His eyes only for a moment caught the sight of Creed before looking back to the teacher himself as he walked back to his desk and...fell. If that wasn't a slight booster to his feelings he didn't know what it was as he smiled slowly trying not to laugh but held it in as he wondered if the man was alright. When Arran popped up like nothing had happened the only thought to go through the young boys mind was that this teacher would either be the most interesting one he has had in forever or probably the weirdest one which either one was going to be a bit new altogether. As the small demonstration went on at the board, Alvin would be taking small notes and observations about what he was talking about at the moment, disregarding the fact that he might be asked a question at any point.
His pencil stopped after looking at the stick drawings and illustrations before writing down in his composition book "teacher is definitely...odd but a interesting character" making this a mental note in the event he that he would need to talk to him. When the ball fell to the real question he would only watch as Reiko not only answered the question but also demonstrated her own magical abilities which were impressive to say the least. He would scribble down some more notes before sitting the pen down and scratching his head not really wanting to answer the question, but merely observe until he could actually answer something in his field.

| Listening to what was said the green haired student crossed one leg over the other and watched as the man up front went ahead and drew things on the board, of course she had a notebook out already and was scribbling notes down. Making sure that she got everything down in it, flipping a page here and there and concentrating. She then listened to Creed say he could use magic, the fox woman could use it too, though her orb wasn't exactly that impressive to Rowe but that was purely because Rowe had grown up around a dragon, and dragons had quite the array of impressive magic. Once Reiko had answered Rowe offered her own answer.
"As my dad used to say concentration is key, if you don't concentrate and visualise what you want to do with your magic energy then you can't do jack shit, you'll just flail around attempting to do it, in the case of humans and those who aren't naturally born with talent... In the foxes case she was probably born with the ability to use it because of her heritage and her already potent magic, humans and other particular species don't have that, so they have to actually concentrate and try to visualize at first what they want to do..." She commented and then she tapped her pen on the page twice before continuing.
"It doesn't always happen straight away and sometimes it won't ever happen because the persons magical energy is weak or ill dispositioned so they need a conduit to do it, like the gemstones in this country, those would be a conduit... But to get the magic from point A to point B it'd require concentration, visualization and determination to do it. Once you've done it a few times? It tends to come much easier.... And yes... As the fox woman said... Extreme pressure sometimes forces it to come to the surface, so the life of a loved one being threatened is an example and you being there and trying hard to do something and it just manifesting as raw magic. The problem after that is trying to figure out how to do it again." She shrugged, she actually.... Didn't look up once from her book... Instead she'd written word for word what Reiko had said and then underneath her explanation in the case of non-magical beings that are learning to use what they have.

TAGS♥ @everyone else in the class NOTES♥ words MUSIC♥ what you're listening too He shook his head at Rowe's entrance though he was curious about what kind of uniform she was trying on. Though he had a feeling he'd find out sooner or later. With that thought in mind he turned his attention to what the teacher had to say. He smirked at then names that were given to the stick figures but otherwise didn't say anything. He then listened to Reiko's explanation and watched her create the sphere in her hand. If he wasn't already used to magic in another form he probably would have found it mildly impressive.
Rowe's explanation was a lot closer to the way he'd learned it. It was also one that worked better for those that didn't natural aptitude for magic or were new to it. It was also good advice even for those born naturally like it since it would help them get closer to their magic and be able to use it faster. Although any that had it naturally and used it often probably didn't have any problems with it anyways. He wasn't sure if there was anything else he could add himself after those explanations so he just remained quiet for now.

TAGS: Sting Eucliffe @rowe creed roberts Reiko Miko Alvin Solince @ri MUSE: Sorry for the months of waiting. No one reminded me and I forgot about this class completely. NOTES: Class1 "I have..." Well he heard that loud and clear.
"Well~ That depends on the answer you're fishing for old man~" He arched a brow as he looked at Reiko, he probably wasn't half as old as she was so she had no room to talk about being old as far as he was concerned but it was what it was.
"Some can simply just channel the energy in a natural way, like a fountain uses water~ They can cause the energy to flow through their body like the fountain gets the water to flow through the pipes, and then place it to the area that it comes to the surface~ And thus in this case the surface would be the spell~ Or rather the person using the spell focuses the energy to a certain point and then they release it." That was an interesting way of looking at it though fountains usually needed a switch of some kind and to be rigged to recycle the water constantly which you couldn't do with magic really. Sill a good answer though.
" If they channel too much or hold it for too long it could actually backfire." Definitely a good point.
"However if they use something like your Gemstones and the like they need to cause the flow of energy to go to the stone and then release it from there. To do so changes from person to person. Some can do it by focusing on the course of energy and channel it that way, other ways are tied to emotion, and even more are tied to the area around them. ...But I suppose that would be advanced classes some my apologies if I missed the point~" He chuckled a little and waved a hand as if to dismiss the idea that she should apologize.
"As my dad used to say concentration is key, if you don't concentrate and visualise what you want to do with your magic energy then you can't do jack shit, you'll just flail around attempting to do it, in the case of humans and those who aren't naturally born with talent... He tilted his head as the green haired girl commented.
"It doesn't always happen straight away and sometimes it won't ever happen because the persons magical energy is weak or ill dispositioned so they need a conduit to do it, like the gemstones in this country, those would be a conduit..." Good she was on the right path with the gemstones.
"But to get the magic from point A to point B it'd require concentration, visualization and determination to do it. Once you've done it a few times? It tends to come much easier.... And yes... As the fox woman said... Extreme pressure sometimes forces it to come to the surface, so the life of a loved one being threatened is an example and you being there and trying hard to do something and it just manifesting as raw magic." He nodded.
"The problem after that is trying to figure out how to do it again." What he found odd was that the girl spoke so bluntly and she was looking at her book as well while she spoke.
"Well then, it seems our ladies are at the top of the class today, gents you've got some work to do~" He chuckled.
"Okay so... That's how we get it from point A to B, but does anyone know a form of magic? We all know gemstones are a form of magic but what others are there out there? There's many so anyone want to give an answer? Only ONE per person if you can manage that and Ladies you don't have to answer if you don't want too since your answers were so in depth~" He nodded to Reiko and Rowe, then he turned to the board and quickly scribbled.

TAGS♥ @everyone else in the class NOTES♥ words MUSIC♥ what you're listening too "Another type of magic would be Dragon magic. Generally only dragons use this type of magic but sometimes they will teach it to humans. I learned dragon magic myself from my adopted father. In some ways it's a lot more uncontrolled and powerful then other types of magic like from a gemstone. Dragon magic is also often element based as well. Mine for example is light based magic."
He figured that was a good enough example of what Dragon magic was. He probably could have gone a little more in depth with it but that should do for now unless the teacher wanted a better explanation.

Alvin had nothing better to say so he had listened to the first few answers that the others gave, some being more precise and accurate than he could even give. In the back of his mind he wished he had actually studied a bit on other types of magic rather than just looking at the normal types, but with Gemstones out of the picture he would need to think..outside of the box. The question racked in his mind as he pondered on different types of magic, black magic being one of them that popped up, but it seemed to generic and already known. There was nature based magic that druids used...but that again was something already known. With a lot of other things he always turn to Runic magic, although it was a poor subject on his part he did know enough to give a small example. After Sting had finally answered with his own answer, Raze would look to Arran and give his answer," Another form of magic would be Runic magic or the use of runes to cast magic. By using a certain rune or combination of runes, one could potentially tap into a weld of magic and use it," although that was as extensive as his knowledge was on the subject he gave an answer no less even if it was....short.
