PERSONALITY TRAITS

Key is an extremely loving girl, she cares deeply for those who she calls family or even friends. She'll be extremely protective of those she trusts where as those she doesn't trust she'll growl at. She also cowers when faced with people she's genuinely afraid of. She's a lot more wise and intelligent than people often give her credit for because of the way she acts which is childish at times and scattered with being random. She can however, be serious should the situation require it.

Key seems to think she does a lot of things wrong and will often lose her drive if she feels that way, she will also ask if she did something wrong and reacts rather poorly when people start crying around her. She might whine like a dog because of her genes and she uses the 'puppy dog eyes' without realizing. Sometimes Key might be dead set on something and not realize the truth behind it until it's a bit late to go back this also adds to her 'stupid' and 'idiotic' persona. She's not stupid she's simply ignorant sometimes.

She might be seen as hyperactive when left to her own devices.

Key grew up in a place far from the country of Utopia. A place where it's not safe for people to roam around freely or alone if they aren't human. Some of them are killed outright, others captured and sold as slaves or cattle. She's seen some females with animal extremities used for various things and she doesn't want to go back. She was also witness to mass breeding to make more so that the humans in that city had more slaves. People who are not human are simply seen as lower than humans. Key was brought up that way after her family was captured by a hunting party. They slew her father, raped her mother repeatedly before selling her in to prostitution and took her and her brother to sell to new customers.

Once she was bought, she was only six at the time, she was taken along with her brother to what would be their new home. Serving a rather rich and wealthy couple. Now at first Key had hope that she and her brother would be safe. Her brother was older than her and she along with her brother were trained to be servants and do whatever was asked of them. At first it was okay. She settled in but eventually she started hearing strange noises around the house. There were others like her who were simply kept for breeding, she however didn't know this yet. Instead she was obedient though the key for her bindings and the like was just out of reach. This would be why she was named 'Key' after a while. She was at the moment simply called 'Mutt 23'.

She was caught multiple times trying to get the key but she could never reach and thus guards and the people who owned her nicknamed her Key, it became her real name to the point where she could no longer remember what her name was.

A couple of years ago, when she first went in to heat meaning her body was mature enough to breed, her captors were going to throw her in the breeding kennels, however, her brother stood up for her and as such, was killed but he wasn't just killed. He was drowned in front of Key, and she couldn't do a damn thing about it. This was enough to satisfy her captors for now and she was tossed back in her room or more cell. Here she would stay for weeks until one guard who was kind enough and took pity, let her out of her cage and took off her bindings. He actually showed her the way out and told her to run far away. In his eyes she was still just a child and no child regardless of their race should be subjected to this.

She isn't sure if he managed to get the others out of there but she also knows that some of them would fight to stay because they've become so accustomed to it all that they don't know any different.

She's run to here, Eden where she met some people she now calls friends and even found someone who allowed her to have his last name after a rather awkward conversation. She plans to get herself an education and training in combat. With that she intends to go and rescue those who wanted to leave and destroy all slavery in the country she's originally from.
