Ash was born during the heat of the day on the first of May. She was the only girl to hatch out of a batch of five eggs. Because of this her mother was always very protective and watchful of her. Although Ash loved her mother this annoyed her at times. Especially since she enjoyed doing stuff with her brothers and was an adventurous individual. She would often wonder off to areas that were just at the edge of her parents boundaries. Often times this would get her dragged back by one of them, though since she was still in Neem and relative safety she didn't get punished too harshly.

Her adventurous spirit really showed itself one day though when she decided to see just how far she could fly on her own. Her brothers were already out hunting and her parents had told her not to go too far. However she wouldn't listen and ended up flying a lot farther then she ever had before. However she ended up getting lost due to the unfamiliarity of the landscape. As if being lost wasn't bad enough she had flown into someone's hunting grounds. She ended up getting her wing clipped and knocked to the ground. Being too injured to fly back home and not knowing the way to begin with she found somewhere safe on the ground to hide out until she could be found. She ended up spending the night and being found by her father the next morning and being taken home from there.

Years later after Ash and her brothers ended up going their separate ways to find homes of their own she learned of her parents dying. Even though they had died naturally of old age it still saddened her. However she understood why they would finally want to die having lived long full lives. She decided to travel the world for awhile rather then building a home. She wanted to see what the world had to offer and learn new things.

Some years after starting her travels she ended up meeting a traveling doctor and decided to apprentice under him wanting to learn other types of healing. She spent quite a few years traveling with her mentor learning about medicine and different types of illnesses. It was during this time that she experienced her first and so far only rebirth. A delusional patient ended up freaking out on her and her mentor and rushed them with a knife. She ended up moving in front of her mentor to protect him and the patient ended up shoving the knife in-between her ribcage and into her heart. She ended up bursting into flame right there with more then one witness and then being reborn as an infant from the ashes.

A couple that had been there and witnessed the entire thing decided to adopt her. Her mentor had left several things with the couple for when she was old enough again. He had thought she was the best student anyone could ask for and wanted to make sure that when she was able she could keep improving. Her adoptive parents had no problem with this and even encouraged her to improve once she was old enough. By the time she was twenty-five again she had learned a good amount of the material her former mentor had left, having remembered everything from before her rebirth helped. Her actual age being in the thousands had also helped on that front. With that she ended up returning to traveling though she did take the remaining material with her.

Many years later she made her way to Eden. At this time she had seen both the worst and best of humanity. However she wanted to try out her medical expertise at a place that welcomed everyone. She also had decided to try the academy here to look for someone to watch over. Being part of the medical staff would give her the best chance to find a human worth of protecting. After all besides teachers the medical staff were the ones that had most contact with kids.
