It was finally time to have that drink, it was finally time that she swallowed the nerves and everything and got out and had some time with the woman that had caught her interest. In fact it was something that had been playing through the fox woman's mind for a bit now. Then again she needed to make sure that the woman knew that and everything so she went and asked the woman to meet her at the bar later that night and she was excited the day up to the meeting. Of course she wasn't going to allow it to show on the surface because it would be a little silly to. After all she wasn't really sure what would come from all of this. So had made sure to get all her work for the day done so that she would have the full night free to go to the bar and to spend it with the other woman and the like. Of course she could have done a better job letting the teacher know she how she felt, but perhaps it would be best for that to be saved for when they were at the bar and enjoying the time they were having.
Of course, it might be a little clear that there might be a bit more than just wanting that drink with the way she went and found the woman to ask them all proper like. At least it was an on campus bar and then she would be able to see how the people here did their work with the drinks. After all, she was a bartender in her own rate. Or rather, she had been for a while many times over the years so she'd be interested to see how the people here on campus handled it. She had gotten in the shower and everything and then she was out the door to head to the bar when the time she mentioned came around. It'd be pretty bad if she had been late to her own idea. Then again it might be a little funny if she was late. But she really didn't want to keep the other woman waiting for too long, or waiting at all for that matter. It was a little silly to her, being this nervous and everything. She didn't even really know why she was feeling like that, so she finally just told herself to stop being silly and just...go for it. Then again she had had some help from a couple of people to reach that conclusion.
In fact she was already inside as she had said she would meet the woman inside the place and she was at the bar watching how they did things and looking at the selection of drinks that were open. For being an on campus bar? This place wasn't bad at all and that made this even better because that meant everything would go over well. ...At least that's how she thought anyway. Even more so now that she wasn't feeling all nervous and everything. So of course she was waiting at the bar and then she got the idea of mixing something for Noe herself, so she asked the bartender about it, or rather told them what to mix for her so that way she didn't get herself or the bartender in trouble for being back there, and then she wanted at the bar for the woman to arrive, her tails swaying a bit behind her as she did so. Of course she really didn't mind the wait, it was a little nice to be honest. Just listening to what was going on around her and everything like that.
Though her ears flicked a bit and then she noticed that the woman had arrived and she waved them over to the bar and smiled a bit. "I know it might have taken longer than I would have wanted~ But here we are, finally having that drink and everything~ Go ahead and try what I had them throw together. It should taste a little fruity, but it has a nice punch to it too. Not...Really sure what the name for it is mind you~ I just hope you don't mind coming here like this on such a short notice. But I'm glad that you did arrive~ If you'd like to get a seat some place else then here at the bar so that we can talk by all means~ Pick some place out and I'll gladly follow." It wasn't really much mind you, but it was hopefully the start that she would need to work this up to something more. Of course she couldn't just...Tell the woman flat out that she liked them, at least not right off the bat like this. No no, she would need to have a bit of tact with that, bring up the dinner and then tell the woman why. At least...That was the plan, and hopefully it would pan out the way she wanted... |

NOTES -Let's see how this goes eh?!- | So she'd been asked out for a drink, by a student no less bot that she was going to say no because she liked a drink now and then and it was a good opportunity to just relax and have a chat. That and the fact that she was quite content to go out and do this anyway even if she didn't need to relax. She took a nice hot shower and then she got dressed, a pair of jeans, with a pair of sandals, a strapless corset top with a denim jacket over the top, the same old glasses and her hair down instead of up. Something different for her at least.
Now she made her way to the meeting place in question. When she went in she made a bee line directly for the woman who'd asked her here, after all it wouldn't do to go and just chat with a random person, that'd actually be quite rude. Sitting down beside the fox woman she smiled at her. Then listened.
"I know it might have taken longer than I would have wanted~ But here we are, finally having that drink and everything~ Go ahead and try what I had them throw together. It should taste a little fruity, but it has a nice punch to it too." So she did, and it was quite nice actually.
"Not...Really sure what the name for it is mind you~ I just hope you don't mind coming here like this on such a short notice. But I'm glad that you did arrive~ If you'd like to get a seat some place else then here at the bar so that we can talk by all means~ Pick some place out and I'll gladly follow." A smirk played across the teachers face for a moment before she slid off the stool and lead the way to a nice more secluded corner where she and Reiko most likely wouldn't be disturbed too much by the noise that was most likely going to start up here.
"Well it's certainly a welcome change to sitting in the dorm drinking beers with Dante. Mostly because half the time he makes me wanna beam a can or beer bottle of his head. But enough about that. This drink is nice and I'm quite happy to be here because it's nice to relax once in a while." She mused and folded one leg over the other.
"So, how's the year for you been so far? Have many of your classes started yet? If you ever need help feel free to swing by the teachers dorm. I don't mind helping you out. I mean not that you'd need it or anything but still it's always nice to know a door's open for you should you need it." She smiled as she spoke, rather relaxed and content.
"Can't say I've ever been asked out for drinks by a student though. It's nice though. I wonder what people would say~"

It seemed that this was a wonderful idea, or at least from the way that the other woman was reacting to everything. Though there was more to this than the other female knew. Then again some of it would really be hinted at, no not hinted out, it would be said here in this place. It could even be said up front because it would let the other woman know the reason why all of this was taking place. Then again the other female might already be with someone, but it couldn't hurt to try right? Maybe if they were with someone else it wouldn't work out and since she would let the other know that she was interested, the other female might keep that in mind. Least that's all she could hope for in that case. But for now? She was following the other woman to where they would be sitting down which seemed to be away from the crowd of people, that would make things a bit easier. They could talk at their leisure about whatever they felt like without having to worry about too many people bothering them. Then again even if someone did try to bother them she'd more than likely ignore them and focus on the other female she was here with.
It was going to need to be brought up at some point, she knew that and then she sighs softly as she gets a drink of her own and takes a sip from it as she looked the other woman over and smiles a little bit. "Well there's a couple of reasons why I wanted to ask you here tonight~ The first being that I said I would at some point~ And the other reason is a little more...Personal. Selfish perhaps~ I wanted to invite you here to get you on your own~ So that I could talk to you safely. To be honest I want to tell you that I'm rather...Fond of you, Noe~ It might sound a little strange, but that's the small of it. In fact I want to take the time to cook something special just for you. Now then, as to what you were asking~" She took another sip from her drink as she leaning back a bit and closed her eyes, well there was plenty of ways for her to answer those questions and everything, but at the same time what would be the best way to answer them? Well...After what she had just said the honest way might be the best.
Though before she started to talk again her ears flicked and then stood up straight, as if she were listening to the area around them for some reason, then they just kinda sat at odd angles as she then started to speak once more. "Well so far everything's been fine~ Its a little odd to be around this many people at once~ After all I used to have a...hate for humans. Perhaps a fear even. Though seeing them kill my whole family for their furs and tails will do that~ ...But I understood that hating everyone wouldn't get me anywhere~ So I tend to dislike the hunter types. Well...The ones that kill just to kill and those that kill rare and special things just to use them~ Now then on to the rest of it, no?" She let out a soft giggle as she looked down into the drink that she ordered, her tails moving a little bit, well as best as they could as she then shook her head and looked at the woman again, trying to piece together everything that she wanted to say. After all she didn't want to bore the other woman more than she might already be.
"I suppose if anything comes up that I need your help with I'll let you know~ Though at times I might just come by to visit you regardless. As for what people say? Pft. Let them talk~ They'd just be jealous that I'm getting my little mitts on someone as pretty as you are~ And I must say that the glasses look is just wonderful on you~ It looks so hard. Plus I suppose I have a thing for people with glasses~ So you have plenty of pluses for me~" She'd giggle a bit again and then wink at the other woman. Sipping her drink afterwards and then just relaxing and waiting to see how Noe might react to everything. After all she didn't want to push too hard and cost herself this chance. She'd hate herself for it for months afterwards it that happened. |

The answer would come shortly she assumed and she wasn't far wrong for the answer to her question came almost immediately after her thought.
"I wanted to invite you here to get you on your own~ So that I could talk to you safely. To be honest I want to tell you that I'm rather...Fond of you, Noe~ It might sound a little strange, but that's the small of it." The teacher simply smiled. Ah so that's why the fox lady thought it was selfish. Noe however didn't see it as selfish at all.

"That'd be nice. The meal I mean and this isn't selfish." She quickly interjected so that she didn't interrupt anything too important. Then she listened to the rest of what Reiko had to say.

"Just as well I'm not a hunter then hm? Then again I never was a big hunter... I know about weapons and how to use them if needed but I wouldn't use them for hunting. At least not anything like you. It seems pointless." She smiled and nodded her head as if to make sure that the other knew she didn't have any cruel intentions.
"I suppose if anything comes up that I need your help with I'll let you know~ Though at times I might just come by to visit you regardless. As for what people say? Pft. "Gotta say, I didn't think I'd end up being hit on by a student, it's flattering though and a pleasant surprise. So sure, we can try this and see how it goes, if it doesn't work out? There's no harm in being friends afterwards." She stated with a grin, she was all for trying it out but that didn't mean she'd not do her best to keep a relationship going. It was just something new to her so it was interesting and unique.
"What were you thinking of cooking anyways?"

Really this was going much much better than she could have hoped for. Honestly she thought she was going to stumble with it, or her words wouldn't come out right or that Noe would have already had someone or any other sort of trouble that could have happened. But so far? It was going rather well. In fact it seemed that the other woman was willing to give it a whirl, and either way at the end of the day they would be friends regardless of how it all ended. That was something that made her smile a bit, it was nice to know that they could still be friends in the end if things went a little sour when it came to the couple thing. Then again she was oooooh so tempted to lean over the table and steal a kiss from the other woman, but that would cause some trouble because her tails would get in the way and it would be a hassle and everything else, so she would frown for a moment, and then she would move to be right next to Noe, or rather as close as she could get to the other woman without it being invasive or sitting in their lap or anything. After all that would be a little odd, even for her.
And now that she was closer she would giggle softly as her ears flicked around a bit. "Well. As far as the food goes that can be up to you, just tell me a few things that you like~ And I'll go from there. And don't worry I'm a much better cook than I look, I promise. I figure I'd play it safe and ask what you would like that way I don't make something you don't eat, you know? But you'll love it, I'll do my best on it. Well whatever it is that you choose that is~ I want to make sure its really good. Because I really don't get this chance like at all, you know? Well to cook for someone that I rather fancy and want to get close to." She would then wink and giggle a bit, even taking this chance to lean against Noe a bit since she was right there. Of course she might be getting a little ahead of herself with this, but to say that she was happy was cutting it a little short. She was pretty damn excited about all of this and she was happy that the other woman was actually wanting to give this a shot. She was a little afraid that the whole student teacher thing would get in the way but that didn't seem to be the case.
In fact she was so caught up in the fact that this was actually going to be a thing that she leaned over and placed a light little peck on Noe's cheek and then giggled a bit more. "I suppose if I visit you in your dorm or what have you I'll need to make sure its okay. I don't want to be causing you or anyone any trouble really. I suppose I'm just...surprised that this is going so well. I was so worried that you wouldn't be interested, or that someone would have beaten me to the punch or something else like that...Oh I'd have been a very upset fox lady if someone had beaten me to the punch. But I suppose I don't have to worry about that now~ I'm glad I got up the nerve to do this, I really am. I suppose I should have come to you about it sooner...But I was...actually nervous, you know?" She'd laugh a bit as her ears would flick and her tails would sway about as she sat there beside the other woman. Clearly this was a very good day for her, because not only did she have the nerve to admit all this to the other woman, but the other woman was okay with it. THAT was the big kicker that made all of this all the better.
Though to be honest, for all of her confidence and everything else? She was still a little new to all of this as she never had the chance to settle down with anyone til now, so it would be a bit bumpy at first, but hopefully the other woman would understand that and give everything a fair chance. Though now that she was thinking she would look at Noe for a moment. "I'm good at cooking a bunch of different stuff, but I'm the best at the more Oriental stuff, like the Chinese and all that, but I can do just about anything if you give me the chance. And um...I'll admit I'm a bit new to this, as I didn't have the time or chance to get with anyone before, so...I'll do my best, Noe~ I hope I don't disappoint you~" She'd then smile at the woman and just get all comfy where she was and then she'd continue to let her ears flick around to listen to what was going on, and then she'd look over to Noe and in doing so one of her ears would sit at an angle and then she'd just smile and wait to see what would happen. After all...This was already going so much better than she had thought it would at first. |
