Cursed ones.
These are the descendants of those who once worshipped The Great Old One, The Goddess Thilya. They can hail from all over the place but very few hail from the ruins of Azarrak.
The legend says that Thilya grew tired of the world and all that was within it, it's people never changed and never progressed, she hated them for what they'd done to the planet to her lovely Gaia that gave them so much, these people were horrible, never once returning what they took. So she vowed to sleep. To never return to her followers, they would be cursed to have horrible lives, their luck turning for the worst, their children and almost anyone in their bloodline being cursed for eternity, being damned for their entire lives.
These are those descendants. Their lives are often gruesome and bloody and they often suffer be it physically or emotionally, these cursed ones don't just have a small spot of bad luck, but they suffer for their entire lives. They don't just lose a finger, they lose an entire family. I think you see the point here that their lives are not something that's easily lived with.
These beings can look like anything. They do not necessarily need to look unique or even normal. They should not however have easy lives and they should not ship with the first characters they meet unless there is at least one full two page thread between the character and their love interest to show the development and them getting over their probable fear of losing someone they care about. Unless of course they're insane in which case they probably won't care much about the fear, or won't give any damns about a relationship in the first place.
Because of this hardship they actually gain a sense of immortality, if they are ever in a battle and are struck down, they will get back up with half health and mana. They have an auto-revive in essence no matter how bad the damage is. This however, is only usable once in an rp thread or once in a battle.

The Guardian Beasts.
These are beings who've been around for tens of thousands of years, their guardian beast status is hereditary usually from a single parent or ancestor, it sometimes has a habit of jumping a generation or two. However once a guardian beast has been picked? They know their purpose, it's mentally ingraned in them from birth.
They have a human a non-human and beast form, their human form is exactly that, human, they do not have any defining extremities that should set them apart from a human because the entire purpose of this is to blend in with the human populace. Their non-human form is something that's between their beast and human forms a partial shift and their beast form is just that, their full shift. Some of them often reaching up to fifty feet tall in the case of dragons. When their non-human form they are about the same size if not bigger than a tall human so about seven or eight feet tall.
These beasts sadly are a dying breed. Some sacred beasts have been here for almost one hundred thousand years, others are half that because they've had their ancestors before them. They roam the world and can speak even when in a beast form, they often attach themselves to a human or non-human who they think worthy of their assistance. These humans or non-human charges should be pure of heart and pure of mind. The reason for this is so that the Guardain Beast can actively advise and help their charge in the proper manner. In turn they serve families from a youngish age until they are either dismissed or the familie dies off.
They are creatures who have a certain grace and presence and should not simply ship themselves with the first characters they meet. They should know better than that unless they have lost all sense of care about the fact that their chosen mate will die if they are non-human, in which case they wouldn't really be very loving towards them because they would know ultimately that the other will die in the next hundred or so years which is finite to these creatures. Most of them should be wary when picking their charges and possible ships. They must have at LEAST two threads with one full page or one thread with two full pages worth of development for them to even CONSIDER shipping with a human or their charge. If you already plan on shipping your Guardian Beast you need to plan ahead and actually set up threads between them and the other character. This is so there is solid proof that you've actually put the effort in.
Please be aware, that these creatures are rare so they aren't all going to congregate in one country unless they've actually got a good reason for being there. Every other country has a school too. So why not go there to look for a charge? Why did they pick this particular place? Why were they drawn here? Etc etc etc. Please bear in mind that guardian beasts know when another is around, they have a sort of link and will be drawn to one another. So if they show up at Eden and feel the presence of another they're likely to stay simply because of that.
Because of their standing, guardian beasts gain +25% to Physical Damage, Spell Damage, Ability damage and HP when their charge is in the same rp thread or battle with them. They also gain the ability 'Shield' which they can activate every two turns to take 100% damage for their charge.

These true angels are not just winged humans or claim to be connected with a 'god', but they work in the celestial army of Thilya. If things start going awry when it comes to the future and fate of this world they will intervene. Their job is also to protect the Goddess Thilya as she is the source of their power. They've been awaiting her return and most of them have lost some memory of their skills and magic.
Depending on the job that they have been assigned in the ranks of the angels. An angel who's job is to simply observe is not allowed to intervene, if they do? They fall. If their job is to blend with humans and hunt down demons then they are expected to protect humans and are allowed to have a little fun unless they are doing so with true demons. If you are part of the angelic military you have no leeway at all especially those who are high up.
If you are to fall you will have to be judged by those who are at the highest or top of the food chain and since Thilya has vanished things are very strict.
True angels are bigoted and rarely if ever will take kindly even to traitorous demons unless there is good reason for it. They will not get along with demons and usually if they find a Shiaraue? They will kill it to avoid any mass genocide, they truly believe in sacrificing one to save millions and are not very forgiving. Recently they have actually been allowed the privilege of interspecies relations, this is purely to preserve the species.
True angels are blessed with +10% more HP, Physical strength and magical strength. They also get -20% damage from an element of your choosing.

Current True Demons:-
Again not just random demons, these beings are worse, they are those who were banished from the angelic courts, they have made their home in the center of the world, amongst the humans and non-humans. These True Demons have fallen angels amongst their ranks and they seek vengeance for only themselves.
They care not about the safety of those around them and do not care for humans seeing them as tools and little more than worms. They're currently trying to hunt down the Shiaraue and are trying to gather ten of them to bring them together to fullfil the single prophecy of old.
True demons like True Angels are blessed with +10% more HP, Physical strength and magical strength.

Current Shiaraue:-
The prophets. These beings can tap in to Thilyas powers and tell people what their possible choices will be in the near future. They can also (if allowed by the character they're in a thread with) see their past or at least their past within the last three years.
These are very much the real psychics and prophets of the world. However they have no idea how to control their ability to foresee the future and it often comes in recurring dreams where they will see 'hell fire' and 'the angels weeping blood'. When Ten Prophets meet it will be time to say goodbye to the life you once had.
They usually have white hair and red or blue/green eyes, they're also usually very pale.
The prophets start with +20% Max MP and +20% Magic damage.

These creatures are supposed to be bringers of fortune, small dolls of them are sold and they are hunted for their ever eerie eyes. They live mostly in the forests and wilderness and are extremely curious little things, they are also thought to be phantoms or phantasms because when one is scared it will either vanish, become a monstrous beast or take any shape it wishes to become in order to defend itself, they are also known to become one with the trees and earth.
These beings in their true form look like that on the picture, they will always have orange/gold/red eyes even when shifted. They can vanish and appear at will though it takes energy to do and they are usually hundreds if not thousands of years old. They are always very giving creatures, and will often try to help any wounded travellers that happen to pass through the places in their forests. If you come to a circle of mushrooms do not walk in to it as they may spirit you away and force you to either become one of them or become the bride/husband of one of their kind.
These start with an extra skill (of their level), an extra rank up on their chosen gemstone and +10% to one stat of your choosing

Some may not even be aware that they are an abyss walker, most aren't, their kind are mentioned many times all over the world in all sorts of scriptures, some calling them 'shadow people' others calling them 'phantoms' or even shadow figure, shadow being or black mass these black masses or shadow beings are just Abyss Walkers that have pushed their abilities and their bodies too far. These beings/people can use shadows to get from place to place so long as they have either seen the place via photograph or some other way such as through a window.
They can use their 'Abyss Walking' abilities to get in to the building or room in question. They can extend as far as making objects out of darkness or even making weapons such as chains, whips, swords, etc etc etc. These abilities can be hereditary but the harder a human/vampire/whatever the hell they are pushes these abilities and their own bodies the closer they are to losing themselves to darkness and forever being encased in shadows that force them in to a state of limbo where they no longer have control over their own minds, there are tell tale signs of this, usually it starts with the eyes glowing and then bright glowing rune like markings across the skin after that the skin turns an unnatural black color and before long after that if they do not allow themselves to recover they will be lost looking similar to the image.
Sometimes they come back tethered to another entity or they bring something back with their soul from the other side... Sometimes it's a good thing... Other times...... Not so much.
These start with an extra ability of their level, extra gemstone, immunity to damage from dark spells/abilities, when a dark spell is used it heals for the damage it should have caused. Cure spells/abilities are half as effective on Abyss Walkers.

The Aolkei, it's a mystery how they come about. Some are human, some are not, one thing that is in common is that they have literally been pushed beyond their bodily limits, been under more pain than the body can tolerate, but their bodies were too stubborn to give up and let life slip away, on more than one occasion. They have been to hell and heaven and yet have come back here to the land of the living due to either some desire to live, some strong will or purpose, or they just aren't ready to leave certain things behind, some come back for vengeance, some come back for retribution, some come back just to right the wrongs that have happened in their lives. They may not remember what it was like on the other side, in the after life but now that they have seen that side of things, they no longer live normal lives.
Everyday life after these events, are difficult to deal with. People aren't much more than shadowy blurred figures that look like some sort of sketched out phantom or ghost, something from a childs nightmare. If the Aolkei concentrates and actually looks properly at people he or she sees what that person or people look like. Their perception has gone completely awry. In retrospect, not all of these Aolkei have to have died and come back more than once, in some cases it can be once the body reaches a certain point it momentarily dies only to revive itself without the person ever being aware other than they recall passing out.
Most end up in asylums as they go mad with the effects, for others it takes time to actually come to fruition but the more stress ones body or mind is put under, the quicker that the effects of their perception being messed with comes to fruition. Experiments have been done to look in to it, most however have been unsuccessful, there are rarities where the subjects have actually come away all right but they never had the altered perception.
These start with an extra ability of their level and +25% Magic damage or +25% Physical damage, they also start with a auto-speed buff that doesn't cost any mana to use in every fight making them much more difficult to fight, however if they fall below 30% HP in battle they will be paralysed by their hallucinations (they get the shakes and start to break down) till their HP has gone back up over 30%, they cannot heal or do anything at all so it's best for them to work with other 'sane' characters. When their HP does go back up over 30%, the turn afterwards (once per battle) they will be in a berserk state and will attack every enemy on the field for a guaranteed x3 combo, their strength will be multiplied by 3 for that one turn and that one turn alone. They lose no Mana for that single berserk state turn. This will only happen once per battle and for one turn before they regain control of their mental state.

Some of these are half-demons, some are only partially demons, none the less they've come from demons who are deemed 'traitors' to the cause of 'True Demons'. They cherish life, they don't like needless bloodshed over idiotic things and they like to treat people like people. Not as if they're lower than dirt. These particular breeds of demon so to speak, do actually have a chance of redeeming whatever their ancestors have done. They might even protect the Shiaraue or help the angels with any tasks so long as it doesn't mean causing unneeded genocide.
All Traitorous Demons should be aware of what their purpose is or their beliefs and how it sets them apart from 'True Demons'. As if they don't they cannot be considered a traitor to the cause of True Demons. Angels would treat them as if they were simply a regular demon.
They start with a single skill of the same level as they are and +10% to one stat of your choosing, auto-float or -20% damage from an element of your choosing.

Requirements:- • Must have staff permission to make one. • Must have at least a total of 50 posts combined from all your accounts. • Must be active on the site i.e. post at least once every two - three weeks. - (Exceptions can and will be made depending on circumstances.) • Element or Position Must not already have a Divine representing it. • Must be fitting for the role (no super nice people representing evil or super cruel people representing good or heroes.) • Restricted characters CANNOT become Divinities. • Maximum of 2 Divinities per person. (3 if you're really active) • Only 2 Divinities can be forming in the same vicinity at the same time (unless people want Eden to implode) • The change can be done in ic so long as a staff member is there to see it and all the stages are clearly gone through. The time frames on the stages are up to you.

It is said that long ago, the Goddess had many champions, her Divinities. That they worked directly beneath her and worked as her hands where she did not wish to go. That she would set them forth upon a path that they would walk and fight chaos and sometimes peace in order to keep an even balance and so that life and death are also balanced.
Divinities as they've come to be known are an age old type of being that occur in the planets times of need or for the simple reason of helping to govern and progress life forwards. There's usually many, but they don't realize what's happening or get too full of themselves that they lose their position and are killed by angels, demons or even by a random event.
The Divinity also known as the Divine will be branded with a mark which comes in over time in a random place on their body. Some are born with heterochromia or hair that's naturally two toned which is often a sign of what is to become of them and that it was decided from birth for those few people. There's a set of signs that come before a Divine is complete and is at their full strength.
The stages are as follows:-
- The mark starts to appear, headaches ensue at random times often being almost unbearable, causing nausea and fevers.
- Headaches become worse, small tremors ensue at night and day often destroying various contents of the room in which the to be Divine is staying.
- Start coughing up dirt at random times and tremors become strong enough to rock their house or living quarters. This is the first element.
- Winds start up around them and around their living area, very much like a tornado. This is the second element.
- Storms start up around them and around their living area, torrential downpours start in the general area near them like rain clouds are following them and they cough up water. This is the third element.
- The Divine starts to burn up, often setting alight though the fire doesn't burn them it will harm anything the Divine comes in to contact with. They also cough fire. This is the fourth element.
- Death is the last 'element' that the Divine goes through, their heart starting to stop and them dying for 24 hours.
- The Divine is reborn after 24 hours of death and either has to crawl out of a grave or wakes suddenly.
- Wings or any other changes such as body color, eye color, hair color now occur and take little over a week to complete themselves. (Small changes)
- First transformation and transformation control.
Once those stages have been and gone, the Divine is now complete. With this they gain power and an element or something to represent.
The Divines power comes directly from the Goddess herself so angels and demons cannot become part of the Divinities. They act as the Goddess's chosen ones in times of chaos and strife and often act as a means to 'balance' the world in general. If something horrible is going to befall the world a sudden increase in these will occur.
However it should be known that even the Divinities have their limits, their personalities and strengths are often the basis for what they represent.
• Rank up to S rank. • Have +25% damage. • Have x2 damage with a specific element (unless they have no element) • Gain an extra three Custom Skills. • Gain two SPECIAL skills that are tied in to their element or what they stand for. • May siphon own power str/hp or mp to another character to help them in times of need. • Mental links can be formed with characters closest to them. • Do not die from age. • Gain a single Shape Shift, this deals x5 damage and makes the Divine take 1/2 damage but it can only be held for 5 IC posts or 1 battle per thread. If used in the IC box it can be held for a maximum of one hour, if it's pushed over it's limit it will gradually start to tear the Divine apart as carbon life forms aren't built to sustain this sort of power for longer than about three hours, at that point the Divine would die, ceasing to exist and even their soul being unsalvagable.
