Summer Walk [Open]

Finally he had taken the initiative to get out of his room after becoming what seemed to be to him as a shut in for some unknown reason. Not feeling like his old self, Raze slowly clambered out of his bed first looking to see if his roommates were in the room and quickly went off to get dressed in a black long sleeved shirt, black pants and a pair of black/grey checkered shoes he stepped into the mirror of the bathroom to look himself over before scratching his head," Looks alright to me i guess," today he was going to go out into the city for the first times in the hopes that he could actually cheer himself up or at least stop feeling like a mopey bastard.

Finally off campus after a bus ride, he would find himself in the beautiful city of Eden after stepping off the bus he would begin to look around at his new surroundings but not before stepping out of the way of some oncoming people. The city had always been one of the most beautiful places he had lived in although he never took the time to actually go out and adventure through the place due to being either in school or at his home doing other things. Now that he actually has the chance to go experience the city without any restrictions he was going to take this chance and have some fun.

Raze probably had some money to get something from the stores around him, most of which were either some form of clothing store or one of those weird stores he didn't quite understand. Slowly he made his way through the streets of the city before stopping at a nearby food stand and grabbing a hot dog to eat before continuing on his little adventure. After bit of walking around the city, Raze had now found himself in the Park where he stood at the entrance and looked around with a smile on his face as his trip into the city was well worth it. Walking through the area of the park he found a couple of benches near a small pond that he would sit at and observe the waters while thinking of things he could do to become more open.

As he sat on the bench staring into the waters in front of him, he looked over to see someone sitting beside him. His eyes observed the woman for a second before turning back to the waters and pondering to himself. She was cute or at least he thought so, nice hair and body. Slowly his head would drop as he felt a little weird having these thoughts about someone he didn't know although they were kind of normal. Giving himself a mental slap he would sit back up and continue to look at the pond before speaking," This place is very beautiful isn't it," hopefully his words didn't disturb the woman beside him and cause her to think of him as some weirdo.

He could have been a bit more tactful in his approach seeing as the girl did not even know he was sitting down beside her or even knew he was in the general area of her, which didn't bother him too much seeing as he had liked to stick to the shadows for the past couple of days. He noticed her pulling down her sun hat and smiled briefly before looking back to the pond, finding the little action if the girl to be cute so he didn't bring it up. Smiling he would look from the pond to the girl to show that she had his attention," Oh don't worry about it i should have probably said something when i had sat down to at least show i was here, but my thoughts got the best of me so i know the feeling," he didn't mind the action since he was at fault for not introducing himself earlier, but it was good to see that she was polite about it and even offered the apology.

Looking out to the pond as she told him a bit about the park he didn't quite know about being his first time here but he enjoyed just being immersed in the nature of the park that it made his own problems seem insignificant," This place is truly one of the most beautiful places in Eden that i have seen so far, its peaceful and tranquil airs really help you clear out your mind and try to find yourself although i would love to explore some more of this place in time," although it was his first time seeing this girl, her smile made him feel a bit better. Maybe it was the fact that someone had actually smiled at him after so long that it just made him a little happier, but he wouldn't think about it for long....he didn't need anymore weird thoughts entering his mind.

Raze blinked for a moment after she had asked him a question in which he had no expertise...being someone that hasn't had a relationship per se but knew what one felt like or at least the motions of going through one, he felt as if he could provide a decent answer but when she walked off towards the water that gave him a small moment to collect his thoughts. Standing up slowly he would walk over to the edge of the water and stand beside her slowly looking inside of the water and to his own reflection," If you would allow me to answer your question...i think i have an answer to it. If someone i had genuinely cared about dumped me over the phone...i would get up and move on. It wouldn't be because i loved them or cared for them, it would be because somewhere in this world there is someone better and willing to do whatever it takes to keep you close to them rather than dump you," slowly he looked over to her with a smile before shuffling his hands into his pockets," besides, if he left someone as cute as you i'd imagine your next boyfriend would be someone who'd treasure you for you," realizing what he had just said he would look to his right and scratch his head a bit in embarrassment.

After calming himself down a bit he would look around at the park and then turn back to Skye," Say...would you like to walk around the park with me? I know we don't know each other but it would be nice to walk around with someone and enjoy the nature and sites if you don't have anything else to do," Raze smiled slowly as he waited for her answer, not really expecting a yes but had hoped she would join him for a small walk. Before he had forgotten and actually not mention it he would give her a small bow before speaking," My name's Raze by the way... Raze Elbrine."

Raze blinked for a moment as he looked to Skye and chuckled when she responded to his earlier statement saying he needed to get his eyes check. The yellow eyes would close for a moment and open once again as he looked her over and nodded," My eyes are just fine, but i honestly think you are cute. It's not me trying to make you feel better or anything...it's just how i feel," that went without saying that Raze wouldn't lie about someone being cute or anything like that, honesty was one of his strong suits or so he thought but for now he would leave his answer at that.

When she agreed to go on a walk with him and even offered him her name, Raze smiled and nodded before sitting his left hand into his pockets," Well Skye let us enjoy ourselves amongst nature and have a little fun," as the two of them began to walk around the lake, he would walk beside her so that the two of them could continue to have conversations so that things don't get a quiet and awkward. So far Raze had been having a nice time being out of the school and in the city and even met a new person in the process. When she asked was he an academy student he would wait for her to finish what she was saying before speaking," Yeah i attend the academy as well, I am a Third Year same as you although i spent my second year at the institute," his reasons for coming here however were simply because his parents wanted him to make a new beginning and find a path for himself.

Raze offered her an assuring smile as he looked to her and nodded for a moment," Yeah everyone needs a break even if its from something like that... Maybe the school can be your outlet or break, to let you experience something new and maybe even find something else you love to do," his eyes found their way to the sky for a moment before looking back to her," You do have a name of endless possibilities after all," softly he said this to himself as he looked back to the water and then to her.

Raze listened to her story intently walking beside her and nodding occasionally taking all of the information in and pondering over it, he had never knew someone who's destiny was already set in stone from the get to. She was right in the fact that she could not choose her own path and even though it wasn't his life he felt sad not only for her...but for her future. He would look to the sky for a moment trying to find something to say about the situation, but the words escaped him at the moment. At the last moment he would nod in silence before speaking," Although you might have to say goodbye to your friends, the memories and times that you had and loved will always remain. The laughter, smiles and tears that you all share will connect you through your leaving. In a sense you all are never apart...you are always together," it wasn't something that he wanted to speak on, but they were words of encouragement that he wanted to give her.

The next statement made him stop for a moment as he frowned for a moment. He continued to listen before stepping forward and giving Skye a hug as a sign that she had someone there for her. The hug was more from behind than the side although he left room between the two of them so it wasn't taken the wrong way. After hugging her he would have smiled and looked at her," I honestly cannot fathom how your life is going to go and i cannot say whether or not something will happen to make it better, but i can say that in the here and now you can live as a teenager and try to enjoy the time that you have now so that you have these fond memories to look back to so when there is a day that being an adviser gets you down, you can think of them to make you feel better," stepping back he would look at her smile and return it happy to see that she mustered up another smile.

He would watch her skip the stones into the pond for a moment and looked for a decent sized stone and handed it to her. Standing behind her he would guide her arm and wrist before speaking," Try flicking your wrist a little Skye. With the right flick and a little power, you can send it across the pond and make it a little fun," stepping back he would pick up another stone and show her an example of what he meant. As he threw his stone it would skip about three times before splunking into the waters of the pond. Standing beside her he would watch if she attempted to try it again, and continue to skip rocks with her if she continued.

Raven stood there in silence as he listened to her speak after what he had said which had the opposite effect that what he was looking for...maybe he was a little too optimistic for his own good and it made him look like quite the idiot which wasn't a good thing at all. A slow nod would be his only reply for a moment as he slowly mulled over what she said but after a while he returned to his normal weird self and kept what she said in the back of his mind for later. After realizing what he had done, Raze chuckled slightly and finally spoke up," Sorry about that won't happen again," the thought of him coming on as a bit too friendly was definitely coming to mind and eventually he could see himself getting punched in the face or worse so this would definitely be something he needed to tone down on unless they were asked for.

The time spent skipping rocks was actually better than he had originally thought it would be since it had been quite a while since he had gotten the chance to do it with someone else. It was funny how skipping rocks would take up so much time causing the sun to slowly set behind them. Looking up even he would be able to see that they had spent a lot of time standing at the pond skipping rocks that he chuckled slightly. Raze had slowly looked over to Skye and shook his head for a moment," You didn't waste my time actually you had given me something to do with it instead of wandering around aimlessly," the small activity actually gave Raze time to think over himself and what he would do to at least try to have a new look on himself which was the magic of skipping stones.

The offer didn't sound too bad and he didn't want to admit it but he was actually hungry. Smiling he would give her a quick nod before answering," Sure i wouldn't mind that at all. I haven't actually had the chance to go to the restaurants here in the city so it gives me the opportunity to try something new. If you want to then yeah i would like to come back here tomorrow," returning the smile he would wonder what kind of restaurant they would go to, but knowing him he would get something inexpensive so he would not impose on the kind offer.
