PERSONALITY TRAITS

Setsuna is a rather odd woman when it comes down to it. She is very laidback and rolls with the punches, not really letting too much get to her because she had too many instances of that in the past. On the outside and how she usually acts is a bit different from her inner workings. However its this usual side that she shows. The carefree and give no fucks attitude. She's had plenty of time to perfect this because she has it down to such a science. She doesn't really take anything too seriously and she tends to find whatever way she can to have a good time. 

She tends to keep out of other people's issues because she doesn't like getting involved. The last time she did it cost her her eye, and thus she tends to avoid getting into stranger's affairs and the like. In fact she will usually just sit back and watch everything play out, the only time she will get involved is if the person that's in trouble is someone she knows, a friend, someone she cares about. Though with the way she is its hard to tell when she actually likes someone or when she's just rolling with things in a way that would mean things would be more fun for her and those involved.  

The biggest thing about her, regardless if its her normal self that she shows or the one that's hidden under everything, she is very very blunt and to the point. She has no censor and she really doesn't give a damn about what she says or does. In fact she tends to say or do whatever the first thing that pops into her mind, and that could be a little odd when things happen from it. And when she's around only a couple of people and everything she'll just strip down because she doesn't really care if people see her and the paleness and the scars usually turn people off staring.

When and if she finds someone that she can honestly say that she loves, she'll show them the self that she tends to hide. But that comes at the end of the path. It might sneak out from time to time, but it would show that person that she trusts them fully. But in that light it would take a lot to get her to actually admit to loving someone. Its something that she hasn't really experienced for a long time, and there is a few reasons for that. Which is why the trust would need to be there and be there in spades.

Setsuna's life was never what one would call easy. Even back when she was a child others would poke fun at her for the sharp teeth and everything else. But she really didn't let it get to her, she just wanted to live her life the same as everyone else. But it wasn't that easy, it never would be either. Her life was rough and tumble the entire time, sometimes even her parents would be angry with her for no reason, even though she did everything she could to make sure she made them happy and everything. But it really wasn't her they were angry with, it was a few things that were happening behind the scenes that she wouldn't know about for a bit of time.

Oddly enough after she got to her teen years and everything people started to be a little more accepting of her because of her looks. But she really didn't give many people the chance to get close to her because she just wanted to have normal friends, people she could trust and hang out with. Though it worked for a time there was someone that she had trusted, someone that she felt like she could hang out with and just be friends with. But that slowly started to turn into something else entirely, in fact when it reached its boiling point the male actually tied her down, even after she had said she didn't want to do anything with them, they kept going, and it was then that it was shown that she wasn't a normal human. She started to twist and tear at the bonds, even making bursts of energy from her hands, but it wasn't enough because the male hit her in the back of the head with something, she didn't know what. But it dazed her and then she felt it, a searing pain across her lower back as she was sliced open. A "punishment" they said of her trying to get free. However there was another pain that shot through her, the fact that someone had forced themselves into her. It was in that instant that her faith and trust in people took a rather large hit.

Though she got her revenge when the bastard was sleeping, she took a knife and sliced his manhood from his body and didn't even look back to see if they bled to death or not. Of course when she told her parents about all of this, her parents were a little more upset at how she handled it over the fact that she was raped and hurt. The scar on her back is proof that her childhood trust in people was misplaced. But it wasn't completely dead at this point. She'd still try to make the odd friend or two here and there as she went along. Though rumors started to spread that she attacked and killed people at random, mostly based on her attitude and her teeth and everything else. It got to the point that a bounty was placed on her head and the sad fact of it was her own parents tried to cash in on it because times were hard for them. And they never once really explain anything to her. Not what she was, not what they were, nothing. But she didn't want to be turned in for their own selfishness and in that light she fought back. Fought back and ended up killing them both.

That was another dent taken out of her trust for people. And it was at that point that she started to just...Roam and drift around from place to place. Not staying in one area for long, but she did get into brawls and bar fights from time to time when she was in these places. Mainly because the drunks tried to hit on her or attack her in blind rage, or because she just wanted a good fight. She didn't really try to kill anyone though and because of that she would come away from more scars than before. But she really didn't care, none were as bad as the one on her back. But she still held onto a care and concern for people she believed to be innocent. Those caught up in things that they couldn't help, sort of like what she had been put through. It was when she came across one such thing that she made up her mind. She was done openly trusting people and she started to distance herself from issues and everything else of other people. She witnessed people using children to lure out the families to their deaths. And then the children would be taken into the slave markets in other countries.

Though when she was roaming around a place called Sooso, she came across people being attacked by bandits and things, and while she wanted to stay out of it, she was forced into it when the people yelled for her help. But in the end she got her ass beaten and bound. Then she got to watch the people kill the innocents that had cried for help. And this pissed her off. So after she was released, she followed after the group, and while she managed to kill them all because she didn't care about seeming human anymore, she ended up losing an eye and a good bit of damage was done to her spine. But she pulled herself toward a city even if it was with her arms, fighting through the pain in her body, but she would soon pass out. It seemed that people at seen her and what she had done, and those people that she killed were a thorn in the side of this place so the reward money was used for placing cybernetics down her entire spin and placing some on either side of her head to heighten her senses.


However this came at the cost of her having issues when first waking up from then on. She wouldn't remember where she was at first, but after glancing around and getting something from her recent memory it would click and she would remember. It was just something that was a downside to everything that had happened. And she didn't want them to replace her eye, so with that they placed a special eyepatch that worked with the cybernetics onto her. She can move it to at least show what's under it.It was at this time that she also had a special weapon made that could heat itself up to the point of slicing through things easier, not to much sear any wounds closed. But still not really being sure what she was, she decided to head to Eden. And after getting there she decided to enter the Academy to see if anyone or anything there might get her to change her ways. Though she did meet someone that seemed to be like her, at least in the ways of just...Rolling with everything that happened, so she would see what would come of all of it. And thus she made it a note to remain in Eden for as long as she could, if only to see what comes of everything.
