INTERESTING TRAITS: • Very good swimmer. • Good with water magic. HISTORY Ophelia has had a very good life in all honesty, even if she was a little sheltered (at first). She grew up with her mother and father, older brother , younger brother and her cousins and rest of her family, her siblings and even she were all treated equally and all of them were given ample love and affection. The family was and still is good and the bonds are still very strong. They have their arguments but other than that? There's no problems at all! So why did she end up where she is? It all started when she was twelve really, she was different to her family who live in Drya. She wasn't racist and was fairly accepting of everyone and everything, where as a lot of her family weren't. She also found a diary, an old one that was maybe thirteen years or so old and she started reading through it, the stories detailed in it caught her eye more than anything else. Grand adventures, battles between mages and warriors, love, betrayal, chaos, friendship, this book detailed it all. What she didn't realize was that the book? Was her mothers. At least she didn't realize it till the end where she saw the signature signing off and the small note at the back saying that this was the end of her adventure, it was time to start a new one. Family. Taking the book to her mother and asking about it, her mother explained that she was once a mage but she gave up when Ophelia and her brother were born. It was now that Ophelia asked if her mother would teach her how to use magic. Her father was also a mage who'd stopped working in guilds and had retired from the Drya military and the dangerous work it entailed. Sure enough, Ophelia was allowed to learn, since her mother was a water user over other elements? It was only natural that Ophelia learn water magic and so that was what she studied for the next six years. Her brothers learned alongside her learning how to summon beasts to fight for them as their father had once done. When Ophelia reached the age of eighteen she asked if she could go out on her own travels now, see the world, write her own diary and possibly find a place that she could be a part of and actively help. Her parents actually saw nothing wrong with this and supported her, more so given she wasn't racist like so many others in the family, so she ended up in Eden. She wrote home asking for permission to join the academy here and they agreed so now she's here learning what she can. She hopes in time that her brothers will see things her way and join her here.
