PERSONALITY TRAITS

Outwardly, Rune appears to be the general stereotype of a rich kid, particularly one without parents. Buys what he pleases, chases girls, constantly throwing parties and having the staff that works for him do most everything. Laid back, carefree about most anything with the most serious you see him being if hes in a fight, running his club, or getting someone to stop bugging someone else.



However, it really is a front he puts up to fool the people he knows his uncle has watching him. Truth be told he'd be fine not having the parties and keeping to himself. He's actually rather serious about many things, including being rid of his uncle. He may ask the staff to get him something but more often just gets or does things himself. Except cleaning.... the staff actually forbid him from doing it since he makes more of a mess even trying. Who he acts like and who he is are almost 180 degrees the other way for the most part. Their is some overlap though, like girls and getting people to back off torturing others. There is another part that is a bit softer even then that and affectionate, but he'd have to be with someone rather special or for long enough to want to marry them to show that. Though, one thing he does try and hide through all of them is that, understandable given circumstances... hes kinda paranoid.

Rune was born on a rather nice sized island that was broken up into several countries, his being called Aerillon. Though one thing that set him apart, was being born to the royal family. He grew up in the castle, but spent just as much time playing with the other children in the surrounding village. Despite wealth and power, his parents like his family had almost always been felt themselves no better then the people they ruled. However, his uncle did not feel the same, part of why despite being the elder son was passed over for the throne. This was why he set his plans in motion when Rune was almost 7, having his parents, or rather his father killed while returning from a trip. However, with his father gone, and his mother in hiding having faked her death in the attack, his uncle took power as Rune was not old enough and his sister, though she technically could age was, was unable to being mute.



It was a year later, when he started the next portion, taking Runes sister, but the men he sent the first time were unable to kill Rune based on morale's. Which gave him time to run as far as he could before the ones that wouldn't hesitate showed up. His uncle put it out that any who helped him would be summarily executed, and told neighboring countries that anyone claiming to be him was an impostor. Despite having his passport, one of the things his country had adopted from outside ones, he had no real means to prove who he was there, as other countries there wouldn't accept that. But more over it wasn't safe as his uncles more zealotus followers hunted him constantly. He had to resort to stealing and it was this that led him being taken in by the thieves and assassins of his home. Who he was didn't matter in their little sub-culture, nor that his uncle would target them for helping. And it was with them he learned how to steal, how to be undetected, how to fight if need be but eliminate a threat without the fighting.



During this time he encountered a girl a year younger then him, but with no real memory of who she was. She had no name, no memory, and judging from the news he heard later that day of a village not far from where he found her having been decimated with no survivors by his uncle, no family. Like him, she was taken in and taught, though Rune was the one that gave her a name, as they said, he was the one that found her and all. Over the next couple years though, she started using his surname after she learned what it was since they were almost like family. Rune having even nearly killed himself trying to protect her, resulting in his current appearance of white hair and light eyes from the draining effects of the ability.



When he was 14 though, things were getting a bit too hot so he and the girl managed to sneak on to a ship that eventually landed in Eden.Though, being more advanced then his homeland it wasn't long before he was caught trying to steal things to survive. When they searched him, they found the dated and worn out passport and looked into it. While sitting in a line up, he found out that the people on the other side had actually confirmed he was exactly who he said he was. He was curious who, but they apparently couldn't say. But he assumed one was his maternal grandmother as a few weeks later, he received a sword from her made just for him. It also lead to him learning that his mother had apparently not trusted the uncle enough that she had set up accounts that his uncle couldn't touch but he could, and left between the ones in eden and elsewhere a great deal of money. Initially not going to do much with it, His partner in crime convinced him to act the opposite of how he normally would. Buy expensive things, go to expensive school, start a business there, things that if he were being followed by his uncle, would make him think that he had no intention of revenge or retaking the thrown. Reluctantly he agreed as he couldn't argue against her thinking and all, so he paid his way into Eden Academy, and has spent the last 5 years studying, partying, and plotting, though more partying and studying as his plans of revenge aren't as easy to pull off.
