Normally:-
Generally speaking Laine can at times be overly talkative, outgoing, sociable and will interact at the expense of developing her own individual interests and internally based identity. This can be a bad thing for her but it also makes her fun to be around for the most part. However she's also overly flexible, random, scattered, and fun seeking at the expense of structure, reliability, work ethic, and long term accomplishment. She doesn't seem to see how this will effect her in the long run and doesn't think things through instead going on impulse.

Sadly Laine is very worrying, insecure, emotional, and anxious. She always seems to think she might be doing something wrong but on the other hand she doesn't really make much of an effort to change things till it's too late. This worrying and her insecurity lends her an overly kind nature and despite people not treating her too kindly she's very trusting, and helpful at her own expense.

She's often late, is influenced more by others than herself, easily frustrated, frequently driven to impress others, easily moved to tears, fires back when someone hurts her, easily distracted, does not always know what she's doing and she will do a lot to avoid rejection.

Demoness:-
This side of Laine is rather different to how Laine usually is.

For starters she's not as awkward, if anything she's often more relaxed, calm and secure she doesn't seem to fear very much. The problem here is that she knows what she wants and when she wants it this can often at times make her seem overly selfish, uncooperative, and difficult at the expense of the well being of others.

She's not easily hurt or embarrassed, does not care if people think poorly of her, not very introspective, not easily moved to tears and she's a thrill seeker. She does not like to compromise, is not apologetic, relaxed most of the time, likes danger and she's not upset by the misfortunes of strangers which can make her seem rather closed off.

Laine in this state of mind believes in an eye for an eye, she doesn't like failure or losing either and she avoids responsibilities. She's not known for generosity, more dominant than submissive, aggressive, willing to take risks, is socially comfortable and acts as she pleases.

Laines history is fairly simple really. She was born to a half demon, half human mother, a human father and she spent most of her time living in a regular town (Just outside of Eden). With regular people. She grew up around normal people but of course none of them were hermaphrodites like her. They were either male or female. She was the only one out of the many people she knew and it caused quite a bit of a barrier between her and friends. None of them would ever spend a night in the same room as her and none of them ever wanted to stay over at her place or even allow her to stay over at theirs.

They were afraid of her.

It was almost as if she had a stigma, as if she was weird or totally inhuman. That was how she always felt and so she's grown up to be naive and possibly a little sheltered due to not being exposed to certain parts of life. Though despite this naivety she did attend a school and just recently her family finally moved to Eden after gathering enough cash to do so.

She's in the second year however due to her being a hermaphrodite and also due to her looking female she's placed under females and is only allowed to stay in the mixed dorms.
