in a dream i was alive. | He was tired of waiting. They'd found the door and instead of actually going in and doing the job they stood around discussing every single move they were going to make. At this rate they would end up being here a week before getting anything done. The door was open and while it smelled like death he didn't particularly care. There were four of them and all of them were supposedly able to handle themselves. After what seemed like ages they were heading down the stairs, not wanting to be unprepared he grabbed one of the torches from the wall so that he could actually see what was in front of him. The sound of wailing reached his ears and caused him to take a step back. It seemed like they were about to face the first of whatever was in here. | tagged:

Auron walked down the stairs to where the group decided to go, well it was more that he decided to go. He was taking the reigns so far in this adventure and he was fine with that. They were still students after all, whatever they decided to do it was his responsibility to make sure that they came out of this alive. the path down the stairs was dark, as there was no light to be found at the moment. Auron kept quiet, seems that no one wanted to speak anymore, which he was fine with that. They were here on a misson after all.
Once they had made it downstairs the first thing he did was grab a torch that was close by. They decided to follow what the path lead and it seemed that light was scarce and without a source of light there was no telling what they would run into. Auron kept his composure as he kept walking, he kept an eye on the others, to make sure that they didn't go too far off from him. It was then that he heard the sounds of someone or something wailing. Whatever it was they were getting closer and closer to it. "Be ready for anything."
With that Auron continued to walk forward deeper and deeper to the path, he wasn't going to let a monster or two get in the way of what he came here to do. Even without a proper sword he had other ways to fight. If he didn't then he wouldn't be a member of the Red Zone security team now would it.
ACTIONS:
Took a torch from the entrance and contined on forward.

The next steps had finally been decided as the group went down the stairs together and so far Raze was enjoying the cooperation of the small squad of men although he couldn't help but wonder just what was behind that door in the previous hallway. As he descended into the darkness behind the rest of his team, the vision that was once clear slowly became darker and darker until he could see faint area's of light in the distance. Even with those lights he couldn't make out distinct figures and shapes so taking the best course of action he created a small circle of fire in his hands and held it up only to brighten it just enough to see in front of him and hopefully help the others see," This should be more than enough ," of course he was going to do his part no matter what, but as the sounds of wailing begun to hit his ears he would show a hidden smile as he responded to the older man," Whatever it is it doesn't sound too happy about something," it wasn't a joking matter, but he wasn't going to let his guard down one bit.

| The wailing rounded the corner to where the three were, a ghost, screamed and wailed at them, before a wraith soon followed and devoured its lingering soul, casting a glance to the four who were here, it shied away from them and returned to looking for more lingering souls in this place. It did however cast a warning scream, of what however was unknown. Perhaps it didn't want them lingering here and interrupting what it was doing but this wraith was out of place. What it was doing was wrong. It was in the wrong place and was devouring fresh souls before they could be put to rest. What do the group do? Follow, go back the way they came or something else entirely?

in a dream i was alive. | There was something extremely wrong with this entire situation. The creature in front of them wasn't supposed to be there and was apparently having a field day feasting on the souls that were lingering around. Weren't they supposed to be the ones doing something about these problems anyways? With a slight snort and unwilling to wait for others he followed after the wraith. The quicker they finished this job the quicker he could get back to his dorm and go back to sleep. | tagged:

A soul...there was an actual soul lingering down in the depths of this temple but the question on his mind was just what was this poor soul doing down here....instead of resting in peace? He only knew of certain instances where souls would linger back and remain in the real world but this sould looked as if it was supposed to pass on and instead was trapped here. Raze stared at the poor soul for a moment before something else crawled into the picture and put the young male into a new state of confusion. As the wraith began to devour the lingering soul it sent an ominous shiver up his spine as if something was definitely wrong with this whole situation and if their were more here...would they be at risk as well? This possibility lead him to believe that this was the reason they were here but with no obvious indication or way of knowing it was simply a gut reaction. One of the other members went after the wraith before anyone could make a major decision which forced him to make one here and now. Knowing that he didn't want to neccesarily let his teammate go alone he rushed behind the boy," Can't let him go alone...dammit this is getting weird," looking to the other two he would hope that they would follow in suit.

| The ghost, the wraith, everything seemed to suddenly take a horrible turn. Pulling Obsidian from his back he now prepared himself. He was prepared for this. He wasn't a stranger to battle and that much was clear when he headed off in front of Creed.
"If things go awry, get your asses away from the wraith. That thing doesn't look friendly. I just have to wonder if Obsidian here can cut it. I'm sure I'll soon find out and if that fails because it's undead? I'll just use revive." He nodded as he walked ahead of the group following where the wraith went. It was time to get rid of that thing since he was fairly certain it wasn't supposed to be around here right now.

Auron continued on his way, keeping a a look out at the temple. There was something here that he didn't like, it was a feeling that still coursed in his body. The sounds of the wails came from a wraith. The ghostly creature just looked at them before heading on its way. Auron let out a dry chuckle as he watched the ghost move ahead. "Seems that this temple is hiding more secrets that they allowed in the reports."
"If things go awry, get your asses away from the wraith. That thing doesn't look friendly. I just have to wonder if Obsidian here can cut it. I'm sure I'll soon find out and if that fails because it's undead? I'll just use revive."
"Good, keep an eye on your surroundings. That wail might have been a warning to others and not to us." Auron said as he followed the kid, he continued to stay on guard. He has his magic at the very least and if that didn't work then there was the revive option. It was ust one of those things where he wished that he was more proficient in gemstones. He only knew the bare minimal and that ususally was enough to get him by. Seems that he had to catch up on some studies of his own. He kept up his pace being side by side with the kid with the sword on his back.

| With the pace having been picked up, the group carried on after the wraith. Other lingering souls tried to grab them from the walls but pressing forward and not panicking would be their best option at this point if they didn't want to be stuck in here forever. They all had a reason to get out of here didn't they? Their trail would take them down three or four different paths which eventually lead to a wide open room. Not just one wraith... but many. Lingering souls that didn't get to pass on because they got trapped here with these things were flying around all over the place. Of course.... The four males were living, so everything immediately turned its attention on to them and? They started to wards them. Fight or flight boys... If you do nothing you might end up with the soul torn from you, if you rush in the same might happen... What do you do?

Raze followed behind Creed at a brisk pace watching his surroundings as usual, but also was weary of the situation at hand. The ground had been following after the wraith that had devoured someone's soul and ran off into the distance. Normally he would not do this, but something about the situation felt off to him and because of this he needed to find out just what was going on here. Since the boy in front of him decided to take point he would watch his back and continue behind him, noticing the walls had been....holy crap!! There was something coming from the walls and at them, but stopping...didn't seem smart," Guys watch out for the walls!," being the only warning he could give them he continued chasing the wraith through the winding paths.
Four corridors later he would find himself with the others in a large open room," Alright you...," stopping his sentence short he looked around to see not just one wraith...but a group of them. The son of a bitch lead them into a party...but a more accurate assumption would be that this was a trap. Looking around he would see the many wraiths turning to look towards the group as if they were their dinner...well actually to him it looked exactly like that considering they were dead...and they weren't. A possible assumption would be that the boys were about to be in quite the battle...but they were trained...okay he didn't know about others, but this would be a good time to see if their classes would pay off. Backing up until he was close to Ebon and Auron he would smile," So plan of attack guys? Keep em at bay and don't get touched right? I don't want to die so soon i still need to get through school, so let's do this and get out in one piece eh?," he was confident in his own abilities and if it came down to it...he could transform and use more of his demonic heritage but for now his flames would be more than enough.

in a dream i was alive. | Great... There were even more of the stupid things down here. Then again that should have been expected. After all this place was full of dark and dirty shit so why wouldn't there be even more of that further down. They were undead... Meaning that his onyx stone wouldn't really do him or his so called team any good. That meant he would have to go with the pearl stone, especially if he didn't want to end up dead. "Just don't get in my way." Twisting his wristband around he moved it to where the pearlescent stone was on top, rather that the pitch black one. He needed to concentrate and that flaming idiot talking wasn't helping him any. All he really knew was his level one spell for this stone but at least it would do more damage than anything those morons came up with. Concentrating he focused the white energy towards the two closest of the wraiths, wanting to at least get them a little more space. The white light raced towards them, only to explode outward once it got close to its target. | tagged:
