PERSONALITY TRAITS

Ryou tends to act rough around the edges, only cause he had to take care of himself and his sister for a long while when they were growing up. So its a sort of defensive front. However, if someone can get past that exterior, and actually get to know him they'll realize that he's a caring young man. Though that doesn't excuse the fact that he can have times of being quite perverted, and he can, at times, snap if his stress is too high. This usually means strings of foul language and a few punches thrown.

Before he was old enough to enter the school, he was at home when he didn't have other classes looking after his younger sister, because their parents had died when they were young. And because of that, he learned to cook and clean and a lot of other household skills such as that. However, he would also make a point to get out from time to time to see places, and to get some fresh air and try to balance everything out, as he knew that if he focused solely on taking care of his sister and all of the work, the stress would get to him and he would snap. It was hard, as he really didn't have a way to give his sister all the fancy and nice things that other kids might have, but there was only some much a kid his age could do.

Though when he wasn't out he would remain indoors, at home playing certain on-line MMOs to where he could meet other people and still be around to look after his sister. There was just something that wouldn't let him leave her alone for too long. Though he did start to get a little standoffish when he got a bit older. To the point where he would get into fights and scraps with a number of people. Usually ending up with a broken nose or something else busted, and even then he'd still look after his sister. That was even the cause of some of the injuries. He'd get them from keeping her safe, as people would often pick on them and bully them because they didn't have a lot because they had no parents. It got to the point to where he started to become rough around the edges to keep himself and his sister safe.

And then came the time that they were able to enter the Academy. Well he had been there for a little bit before his sister could enter, but he would still have that roughness to him through out his time at the Academy. He'd often times be seen lounging around and trying to relax, but his mind would always focus on the things that he couldn't really help and it would always get to him in the long run. He'd meet people during his time there, friends and the like but he'd also keep getting into fights. It was almost as if he was looking for someone that could keep him stable and under control. But he's convinced himself that no one would want to be close to him because he's not rich and he doesn't have much to offer. However, the fact is that he knows that he's a good person, he just keeps those rough edges up to make sure he can be there for his sister.

Though while he was at the Academy he would continue to play the MMOs, simply because there was someone that he had met on one of them. And it was because of this person that he continued to play that certain game. It fact they were someone that he talked to quite often and felt a little close to them, well more so than most of the people he knew fact to face save for his sister. It might have been silly, but it was something. He'd even talk about the Academy and his sister with them and some of the things that he had gone through. He was trusting the person, but it was unsure how it would all pan out. But now he was in his fifth year at the Academy and it was going to be interesting to see how everything played out in the end.
