PERSONALITY TRAITS

Generally speaking Misao tends to be easy going. She tries to not let things bother her too much when they happen, though there are exceptions. Touching her the wrong way at the wrong time or the wrong words if your a male being the most common cause of her attitude going sour. Despite being someone who takes money to serve as a guard or the like, she actually is very loyal. Though, part of that could be that she chooses more by what seems right rather then what gives the biggest paycheck. She'd generally take 100 bucks a week to deal with some riffraff bothering a family over 5 figures a day for some greedy CEO. Contrary to when she was younger, she has greater control of her... instincts... when it's that time, though, she may be a bit more open and flirty.... or just plain direct, really depends on her mood and how bad she feels it. She enjoys having a bit of fun and lazing about, she enjoys her family, literal or not, as long as when it comes to her twin that relationships don't come up. They tend to have disagreements over the fact that while admittedly Bi Misao has a bit more interest in men then women in terms of a actual relationship, which her sister thinks is reversed, and the fact that her sister is a closet case lesbian even though anyone that knows her knows she is and is fine with it. Though, she has at times wondered if her sister has the right idea given trying to find a guy that'll listen and is on the more.... submissive side, for lack of a better term, is hard.

• Night vision/hearing - Given noise and all in a city its not as good there but she can still pick out certain close ones and see well in the dark.

Misao was actually along with her sister born a servant by technicality in Aerilon. Though, by comparative terms to surrounding kingdoms it was far better. Her family was treated more like members of the royal family then as there lesser. Save for the kings brother who just seemed to be well, an arrogant ass. That's why her and her siblings were often with the tutors and such that the palace had on retainer, so they were actually educated. Misao though, while not dumb by any means, chose to show it less then her fraternal twin. She'd always kid that "I'm too lazy to be the brains, you do it, I'll just hit the things" with her twin. Misao inherited a bit more of her mom's genes then her fathers, so she was more like a larger feral cat. Her sister, while strong, but not on misao's level, was honestly more like a house cat.

Misao's first trip to eden was entering the academy there as a first year, along with her twin. The royal's had heard about it while traveling off the island, and were curious about it. They had no children of their own yet, and aside from hearing it had very different things in terms of technology, were curious in general of the way it worked. They wanted to try and set up something of a education system and they figured why not if this school was so great what they did. She did her work in the school and took notes, though, she focused a bit more on the physical classes then the mental ones, save for magic and the like cause she struggled with it. Though, aside from getting better with magic, the school taught her a lot more in terms of fighting and control. Generally she was just the type to hit something as hard as she could till it stopped, but she actually learned how to control her strength and fight with a bit more finesse. Not much, but more importantly she learned the control to use normal weapons without breaking them.

The next few years after the academy were uneventful. The king and queen got over the dislike of the arranged marriage and had a daughter and son she helped care for. Things seemed fine save for the occasional issues with countries or rogue elements, till the day the king was killed and "supposedly" the queen. She had her doubts given to her A: she was a very strong and scary woman... especially when pissed and B: the body didn't smell right. Sure she'd been dead and all, but the scent was still off even for that. Though, after the disappearance of the prince, and supposed recovery of the princess is when the slide began. The kings brother settling into the throne caused her family to decide to leave, as they had no loyalty to him given his less then ideal treatment even before then. Though, they were attacked by guards loyal to him and Misao and her mother ended up captured making sure the others got away given they were the best fighters, though misao had to practically throw her twin to make her leave.

The next 3 or 4 years were spent heavily chained up in a dungeon with her mother for some of the guards "personal use". Though, her and her mother were stubborn and not so easily broken. But they spent the last few moths in captivity feigning being broken and accepting it just to try and get an opening. Which, first thing they got a pair of guards foolish enough they showed how unbroken they were. She doesn't know if she killed anyone, it was just a blur to her in her rage. But she knows she wasn't holding back so there were at the very least lots of broken or shattered bones. It was a few weeks before they were out of territory that was now controlled by the power mad usurper, and once they were, they found help to get the collars off, as they had been forced to just snap the chains on them. Though, Misao asked that it be made she could take it on and off and had the chain cut a bit. Other then the fact it did actually stop a sword swing, to her, it was a reminder. Of why not to take freedom for granted, and of a score she intended to settle at some point. She didn't know how or when, but being held captive and used that way, she wasn't just going to forget that.

Her and her mother spent the next roughly two years work as mercenaries, primarily against the armies of their former home. They took what ever was offered, because as much as they didn't like fighting old friends and countrymen, despite that the army was bolstered by conscripts from conquered lands, they knew the madness they endured would only spread, and had seen what this king would make all he conquered. It was against everything his family had worked for for generations, and it was almost like a hell on earth for them compared to what their home had been. But while such battles delayed his advance, they were always losing, and they missed their family.

Everything they had pointed that if they weren't dead, they were off the island, but no idea where. Misao and her twin had been the only two to leave the island before, so Misao figured they might have gone to where they had. It was somewhat familiar and it wasn't too dissimilar to what there home had been in terms of a lack of prejudice against the various types of people such as her or elves or the like. They managed to get on a ship to Eden, and found their family, safe and intact. Though, given Misao and her mothers reactions to being patted down, both sought help dealing with what had happened to them. It was during this time her parents caught wind hat the prince was here... though he had been arrested for theft. Though, her parents when they came back had clearly seen someone besides him, but were playing dumb at it. It was a very short list of who it could be, and she figured most of the reasons it could be they were quiet. After all, whatever measure of betrayal and anger she felt, the princes would probably be ten fold, and understandably so.

Initially, she was going to work as his bodyguard, or one of them, however, given what he was trying to do to throw his uncle off, she wasn't quite at a stage to play along. Namely because if he put his hands on her she might have sent him through a wall. So she chose to just kinda freelance. Were he to drop the act or be able to tolerate being "the hot bodyguard" and go back to serving his family, but while she has gotten better about it over the roughly 8 years of freedom, she still doesn't trust herself to not put him through a wall. She's generally sure he'll drop the act first because she's sure she'll never truly be right after that. It does though to her make sense at times why her sister thinks she'd be a straight up lesbian after it, though, given the circumstances, she does kinda wish her sister would stop trying to help her settle and be happy with a girl. Sure, her sister picks winners cause they have similar taste. But she'd rather she settle down with one and come out of the closet. Namely because aside from the fact that unlike the places outside the original borders of her homeland that there was judgement, there and here there wasn't, it was almost painful to walk in on her sister and her "boyfriend" and tell she wasn't into it, but more so that when she looked up you could tell she'd much rather be with the friend Misao had brought over that was a girl. As much as her goals in life at the moment are relax, maybe pass a bit of knowledge on, and just relax, the one goal she does have that's actually long term is dragging her sister out of the closet so she can actually be happy. And because she's so terrible at acting like shes straight when she brings boys home it makes her want to gag.
