Yoshitsune demands hard work and successions from his students, sometimes he gives them extra homework or sudden tests when he sees fit (and enjoys to see them squirm about it). If any students attempt to have pamper from him, they are greatly mistaken (and signed their own death warrant) because Yoshitsune is not easily tricked and he will reprimanded them otherwise he gives them loads of homework and assignments to them or tell them to run laps until he says stop as punishment. Yoshitsune is also mean, sarcastic and have dark sense of humor. Despite he is a strict teacher, Yoshitsune is not entirely bad person and he is fiercely protective over his students. The reason of his strictness towards to his students because he wants them to be successful individuals in the future. He is willing to take responsibilities for his students who committed huge mistakes. You can say that Yoshitsune gives "tough love" to his students. He also doesn't mind to share table with his students or students from other classes in the school cafeteria and have a chat with them. Yoshitsune have a good working relationships with other teachers and staffs although he often exchange banters with them. He also likes to tease his students with his wit or sarcastic remarks as well. Whenever any students have doubts or personal problems, they can come to Yoshitsune and he will either advise them or help them entirely. A wise man, his gentleness and sincerity surprises his students who only knows him as a strict teacher. He affectionately calls his students as "my little bastards" and easily distraught if they are seriously hurt or injured. Anyone who harms his students will face his wrath and his fist. While fearsome in the academy, Yoshitsune was completely a different person outside the academy. He is rather relaxing, easy-going and enjoys his life to the fullest. He is also a chain-smoker and have a liking of alcohol but not always drunk, Yoshitsune drinks alcohol to relaxing himself. Not just that, both Yoshimoto and Kaede were dragons from Hokkaido. As a child, Yoshitsune and his parents lived their lives normally like any other families did until they involved in a car accident, only Yoshitsune was the survivor. Yoshitsune admitted to an orphanage. As he reached to his teenage life, Yoshitsune attended Eden Academy and favored the subjects; histories, mythologies, and languages. After that, Yoshitsune graduated from the academy at the age of 21. Police Career After graduated from the academy, Yoshitsune followed his mother's footsteps by joining the police force in Eden City and received the basic training as a police. Since he got a diploma certificate, Yoshitsune promoted as a junior detective at the age of 24 and partnered with a veteran detective Danny Brooks whom he respected and viewed as a fatherly figure. In the police force, Yoshitsune was known being headstrong detective with sense of justice but he can be hotheaded and naive at times. With Brooks, Yoshitsune solved many cases and put the criminals behind bars. During a homicide case, Yoshitsune befriended with a witness who was a female jazz singer and he developed personal feelings towards her but kept it to himself. Yoshitsune continued to serve as a detective until he investigated about a serial killer who was already killed many individuals. When they finally tracked down the killer, Brooks was wounded by the serial killer severely before Yoshitsune killed him. Brooks told Yoshitsune that he was proud to serve with him and treated him as if he was his own son, Brooks later died in Yoshitsune's arms before other police officers arrived. Unable to cope with Brooks's death, Yoshitsune lost his will to continue his career as a detective and he left the police force at the age of 26.
