As the first male born he was named successor to the throne. As such he was trained from a young age to be ready to take up his responsibilities. Both those to his country and those to other vampires. His sister Alisa helped him with this as well giving him tips on how to control himself from what she had learned over the years. By the time he reached the age of two hundred fifteen his parents had another child, Gavriil's younger brother and second in line for the throne Alexei. It was also at this time that his father deemed him worthy of taking over the throne. Although Gavriil had been raised to take this responsibility he wasn't sure if he was ready for it. His father had ruled for centuries and living up to his reputation would be hard. However he knew that he had a duty to his people to take up the throne and prove himself. He spent the next century dedicating himself to his role as ruler and bettering his country. As well as making sure that his Vampire subjects kept themselves in check. Though he knew he couldn't monitor all of the latter population as much as was needed. He had faith in his people though that they wouldn't just mindlessly kill and give credence to the rumors humans had about them all being monsters. Recently Gavriil has taken an interest in helping his country become more open minded and diverse. To help with this goal he has gone to Eden to learn more about how life works there and enrolled as a student. He is very fascinated with the wide variety of people that call Eden their home. Well he is at Eden he has left Alisa in charge of things back home. He's also been lucky enough to meet other royals as well. One in particular has caught his interest for multiple reasons, despite her naiveness and ignorance of how the world really works.
