PERSONALITY TRAITS

Ivy may seem to be very well together and mature, but that is simply because of her home life. She was forced to mature quickly and forced to act like an adult to get through many things. That being said she knows how to mind her manners and how to handle herself in a crowd during most times. There are times that she can get worked up and flustered because she doesn't realyl understand certain things or she gets caught off guard by things. Much like talking of the future or talking of relationships and of family as she has had nothing good to reflect on in that area of her life. However when things are heated she tends to keep a level head and tries to apply thought and everything else to everything to try to calm people down.

She used to hide her truer self, because that was what her parents wanted, and thus she is just now really coming into her own. She speaks with an accent and she likes to try to help people if she doesn't feel like she is intruding upon them and everything else. Regardless of what she does, she tries to keep her manners about her, and she doesn't really like to talk about her parents if she can help it. However she will not wait to tell someone that she can trust how terrible of people they are and she doesn't really want anything to do with them anymore. And thus if people pestered her about it it would be an easy way to get her to lose her calm and cool and see that she has a bit of a temper on her if she gets pushed too far.

She tends to show her more clueless and honest self when she's alone with people that she can trust and those that she cares about as she feels that they wouldn't really judge her. However even like this she tends to mind her manners, though she tends to be to the point. She's like that with other people as well, as she feels that if she gets to the point before things have a chance to get misunderstood or people have the chance to twist words around that everyone involved will be better off. And while she realizes that some people won't like this way of handling things, she feels that it would be the best way to handle everything, and she is prepared for the backlash that might come from it.

When it comes to things like love she is still as straight forward as she can be, even though it would be a little clumsy and everything else as she really doesn't know how to handle it all. Its a new experience to her and she really doesn't mind that, and she is more than willing to learn the proper way of going about handling it all, though it would be up to her partner to work with her to learn everything else to do with it. As she feels it would be best to work together with them to get things right.

Ivy had been brought up to hide her demonic features as she was born into a noble family in the country of Devereaux and before of that she was kept from a lot of people and everything else because her parents wanted everything to be perfect to their designs and plans. Because of this Ivy didn't really have much love and care for her parents. And it become worse and worse the older she would get. She would watch her parents mistreat and abuse the help that was at the house and even watch as her parents would kill the help that did not live up to what they expected. Because of this and because of the fact that she could never bring herself to be the "noble" that her parents wanted her to be she grew distant and even made plans to leave home for some place else that she could make a life for herself away from her horrible parents. She enjoyed her home land, just not her parents.

However before she could leave something happened to cause her to snap a bit. It caused the darker side of herself to come forward and it even changed her outer appearance. She was a good deal more cruel like this, however she still had control of herself and stopped herself before she did anything horrible. IT was something that she did not enjoy, but her parents were relishing the fact that she had that side and that she had awoke to it. That was the final part that pushed her over the edge. And thus she would gather some of her things, pulled a good bit of money from her accounts and the like and then she headed to a place that she heard about. The city of Eden where many beings were making a home of themselves and it also had the wonderful Academy that she had read stories about while at home.

At first she was clumsy and unsure of herself, still heading some of her features and her accent, having practiced talking normal without the accent bleeding through, but after talking to a couple of people she realized that, because of what they said, that she should be herself. Because of that she started speaking with her accent and allowing her wings and tail to be out in the open and for once she was happy with being herself, and she was free form her terrible family. And that being said she was making the most of her time here in this place, and she even came to be in a relationship recently, so all in all her life is taking a turn for the better, she only hopes that it would continue to go well.
