PERSONALITY TRAITS

Kira is a very kind and gentle young man. He tends to use logic, thought, and emotion all together to come to a good conclusion, however he can at times be a little naive and too kind for his own good. This is his normal self, though there is a rather dark side to him when certain things push his buttons or when things reach a breaking a point. It has been said that he is a Berserker type person. 

This other side only comes out when things are bad. While like this he is straight to the point, blunt, and usually not one for talk or anything else. He becomes very goal focused and doesn't like getting side tracked. Though while he is like this he understands things like who needs to be protected and who is an enemy or source of trouble. At times he can come off as cruel like this, but its simply because he wants to get whatever caused him to become like this out of the way. After the cause of the change is taken care of, he will return to normal and he usually isn't very happy with the way he was during the change. 

Overall he is very caring and likes to keep his friends, family, and loved ones safe. He even cares for other people and those he deems innocent. He doesn't like to see pointless violence, or violence in general, but if need be he will fight to keep those he cares about safe. He is very loyal to those he gets close to, almost to a fault but he tries his best to keep those people safe above all else. He is soft spoken and tends to be the voice of reason and the like when things get bad, but he can be counted on to come through in a pinch if he is needed.

Kira never knew his real parents, as he was taken from them when he was very young. His real father had had his genes toyed with to make him a higher being than a normal human. Making it to where he would never get sick, to where his body worked better and faster than normal people. And he never had the chance to say no to this as he was just a baby. He also had a twin sister that was taken from his parents before she was able to be messed with. And thus he grew up with a foster family for a number of years. As he grew he would learn of his twin sister and he would make sure to visit her from time to time to make sure that she was okay and to make sure that everything was going well for her. They might not have grown up together, however he did still care about her as his sister, and that fact would never be overlooked, at least not by him.

He always had an edge when it came to tech and electronics, being able to repair them and make a few things. And as he was growing up his friend, Athrun gave him a robotic bird that he has kept to this day. Making sure that it remained in working order. However as he was growing he noticed that he would change from time to time. His body would become even higher in a state of awareness, his reflexes becoming sharper and everything else. Thought during these times he was different, he wasn't as kind and helpful he was more to the point and a little more angry. But he would later come to realize that this was something like a Berserker side to himself.

This being said he would go through his life making sure to keep himself in check and to help everyone that he could because it made him feel helpful and make him feel as if he belonged. However when he learned about the Academy he told his friends, and his sister that he was heading there to see what he could do and what else he could learn to become a better. To better himself and to maybe help other people that were at the Academy that he could help. He was always on the look out for making new friends and everything as well.
