This would be her first lesson, she'd never taught before even in all her years of living. So she looked around the classroom and then she took a deep breath, slowly she looked for the text books that she then went and set on desks in front of seats and then she went back to the board. Miss Pronoia Angelus You may call me by my first name, I apologize for any mistakes as this is my first time teaching. I hope you all understand.
Todays lesson:- Introductions Good Morals Acceptable Social Behaviour Brief outline of Sociology
Homework:- Write a paragraph or two about one of the following things:- Social stratification Social class Social mobility Religion in society Secularization Laws and rules/Moral standing Sexuality and devianceOnce she'd written all of that down she waited for people to arrive and the first person to arrive she offered the smallest of smiles before she gestured to the classroom before her. "Please, sit and make yourself comfortable. I'll start once everyone is here, I have... Left a brief summary of todays lesson and your homework on the board if you wish to take notes there should be a notebook beneath each textbook so it doesn't matter where you sit. Feel free to claim a textbook and notebook for yourself and write your name in both." She nodded though her voice was rather soft she settled in her seat at the front of the classroom and then she sighed. It was only a matter of time before her students would arrive and then things would really get in to full flow, it was just a wonder if she could and would keep up. | Tagged For:

She made sure to be out of her room ASAP for this, wanting to guarantee she was the first person in the class today. Was Nihil usually the one to be early for everything? No, actually. In fact, she was going to take it easy after all this was started. She primarily was only doing it to get in good graces with the teacher. Of course, not that she knew what the person's personality was like... In fact this very idea could backfire on her, now that she thought about it... No, that was stupid. Forget that.
Taking a quick peek in the room, she was indeed the first student here, and the woman inside seemed pleasant enough by first glance. Not to mention the smile Nihil received only reinforced that notion. "Please, sit and make yourself comfortable." The second year nodded, doing just that. She listened to every word as... Pronia spoke, claiming a spot and what was offered.
Pronia... Not a enforcement of calling them via title or the usual Miss plus last name. Her mind went to a more casual teacher before then seeing the note that it was the woman's first time teaching. Put that all together with the tone of voice and it all made sense. In fact, Nihil couldn't help but laugh a little.
"I'm sorry," she said, separating the books. "I don't mean to laugh. I was just reading what you had up there. Feeling a little nervous, I'm guessing?" Not that she was feeling any different, but that was only natural. It was her very first class, after all.

Xion stretched as she walked, slowing down for only a moment until she felt a slight pop in her shoulder. She didn't sleep that well last night, so she tried to get a small nap in before she needed to get ready... But she just got up feeling a little worse. The last thing she wanted was to get sick, and so far it was just feeling a little weak and tired. There wasn't a temperature or anything. Maybe she just wasn't eating enough?
Still, the girl made her way to the room, finding one student already inside. She gave a small smile to the teacher, glancing at the board as she took a seat. First time teaching... Well, she wasn't exactly one to look for mistakes, much less ones in teaching. But Xion kept in mind if Miss-- uh... if Pronia seemed a little lost that she would simply dismiss it. There's a first time for everything.

He had been looking forward to this class since his talk with the angel teaching it. He wanted to know what kind of take the angel would take on this class especially since it was her first time teaching. When he made it to the class first thing he did was read what was up on the board before nodding and making his way to one of the desks. He wrote his name in both the book and notebook that were provided.
"Hello Pronoia hopefully this class goes well for you since it's your first time teaching a class. Though I'm sure you'll do great."

She was a little late to class, not much only a couple of minutes at most but she'd been making sure she ate before she showed up to this. A bright smile on her face as she was full and content and now she wouldn't be a danger to anyone in the class.
As she arrived she headed straight for a seat, waving at the teacher as she went, then she sat down and she waited for the class to start. Quickly she glanced at the other people around her. One guy, two girls. Her would make three, now who would the fourth be she wondered. If it was another girl then damn maybe this guy had the right idea in picking classes? Unless of course he was taken in which case the female to male ratio in this class really wouldn't matter. That and Akane sort of had her own boyfriend anyway. Kizami. Gah he was so good to her even if he was a bit of a psycho.
She liked him regardless, that and he helped her catch food. Oddly she enjoyed the blood of criminals and the like more than normal average good people anyway.
Quickly she started to jot things down in her notebook to make sure she had everything she needed for this class down in writing. Then she finally looked up and waited for the class to begin. At least Kizami wouldn't be hounding her in this class, or worrying about how she was doing or if she'd fed today, wait he probably would worry about that and then possibly go kill something or someone out of frustration. At least he'd be quite allowed to go nuts with the things in the red zone.

She was a bit late, that much she knew but she had to make sure she had everything ready for this class. It was one of the ones she was most interested in. In fact she was so interested in it that she had a stack of books on the subject already and now she felt like she was prepared. Grabbing her bag and her breakfast she headed out of the doors and off she went towards her class.
As soon as she arrived she went and sat herself down and looked at what was written.

Okay so that was todays lesson. Quite a lot for a first day but oh well. The homework seemed super easy. Maybe she should write a couple of paragraphs about one and then two more about one of the others that linked in to it?
"I think this class is going to be good." She murmured to herself as she sat there one leg resting over the other.

The first student arrived, a young lady with black/brown hair dressed in all black with a little red, who... Laughed... Yes laughed at what Noia had put up on the board, thankfully however Noia wasn't angry about that she was just confused. "I'm sorry," At least the girl apologized and Noia nodded. "I don't mean to laugh. I was just reading what you had up there. Feeling a little nervous, I'm guessing?""Not exactly... It's more if I make a mistake I do not want it held against me as it would be from inexperience rather than anything else." She smiled again, her eyes now shifting to the shorter dark haired girl that came in. Quietly and the young lady didn't say a word at all. That was different, not that Noia was going to get upset about that, some people just didn't like to talk too much and that? Was perfectly okay. "Hello Pronoia hopefully this class goes well for you since it's your first time teaching a class. Though I'm sure you'll do great." She bowed her head to the student that said that said that. "You happen to be the only male in this class Kaiza... I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing." She found herself chuckling a little bit at that, though it was strange, being down here with all these people the last few months had allowed her to grow a sense of humor and various other things that allowed her to function as part of their society. The last two girls finally arrived and now Pronoia could start. "As you can see, we have four things to get through today. The first two should be easy. I would like each of you to introduce yourselves, say a little about yourselves and then give an example of what you believe 'good morals' are." Slowly she settled herself on the edge of her desk. "I'll go first I suppose, my name is Pronoia, my birth date is unknown as it was so long ago, others think I'm as old as the Goddess herself. The reason for this is because I'm an angel of creation, most of you can't and won't see my wings as it's a little difficult for you to perceive. Kaiza and miss Akane should be able to see them all though. I enjoy making things but I also like teas and eating fish. I dislike crackers and coffee.... I can dance and sing as well." There was her introduction, now it was time to show what she thought good morals were all about. "My view on good morals is that they may not always be considered good dependent on where you're from or where you're visiting. However there are those which are something that go without saying really such as always keep your promises, always tell the truth, treat others as you want to be treated, the list goes on. I'd say good morals are like a set of guidelines made by men for men to allow people to get along without becoming savages..." Once tht was done she rested her hands on her knee and she glanced around the class. " So... Who would like to go next? Remember if you can't think of something different to someone else, on your view of 'good morals' you can simply give one or two examples of what a good moral is to show your understanding." After that she smiled and waited. It was time for everyone else to have a shot at this. | Tagged For:

"Not exactly... It's more if I make a mistake I do not want it held against me as it would be from inexperience rather than anything else."
The second year nodded, understanding what she meant. "I don't think anyone here will do that. At the very least, I won't." Nihil knows she wouldn't want someone to be keeping score on her so early in the game, so she can't be a hypocrite. Of course, not like she was wanting to be a teacher anyway, so why should she to begin with?
As the other students came in, the girl stole a quick glance at each one. Varied age group, from what she could guess, and that actually made things a little interesting. Made her wonder exactly what this class would end up being like. Though the moment Pronia started speaking... Maybe 'a little interesting' wasn't the correct expression.
A teacher that was an angel... about as old as the goddess herself? Well, she heard the term ageless before, but still. However, she was a little disappointed that there was wings she couldn't see. That would have been quite the story to tell her parents back home if she could take a picture of them. But that wasn't really important at the moment. What needed to be done was an introduction.
Of course, being the first up is always a little intimidating, but after a moment, the girl stood. "I'm Nihil Adrem, a second year. I'm here studying to be a lawyer, which I guess would leave the concept of 'good morals' up for interpretation in such a line of work..." Her mind went to that conversation she had before, but only for a second. "But anyway, I like to consider myself the social type, I enjoy cooking whenever I can, and before anyone asks I do wear this cloak on a regular basis. It was a gift."
Now as for the morals. "Good morals, from my standpoint, I would say isn't that much different from Miss Pronia... Oh, I mean Pronia. Sorry, it's a habit. But there's always the basic stuff you mentioned, but what is considered a good moral by one person may not be seen that way from another. Like getting up and telling the truth about something that happened may be seen by the other person as them betraying another person, despite the situation being wrong in society. Like the question would go, 'What is morally correct?' That answer can differ."
Though she stopped herself at that. This was just her opinion, after all. She wasn't here to convince anyone. "But that's just my view on it." Best to just sit down and let someone else continue.

Xion tried not to linger on the other people coming in, not wanting to see someone and start staring like she did with a few other people. She got off easy with them, one of which was... well, an entire story within itself. She wasn't up to explaining it, though. So the first year just tried to keep to herself, until she heard one statement.
"You happen to be the only male in this class Kaiza..." That made her turn and notice that it was definitely the case. "I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing." But that last statement made her look away. So many different ways one could take that, despite knowing it was all in good fun.
Though once the teacher... No, she had to work on calling her Pronia. That's what the lady wanted, right? But wait, no, she just said they may... Ugh, never mind. Xion was just going to stress herself out over the small stuff again if she kept that up. Although the first thing Xion kept in mind was how Pronia said, basically, that she at least wasn't sure of when her exact birth date was, and... could be as 'old as the goddess herself'? How old was that? If it was a goddess then it would have to be beyond ancient. That would be older than Sol, wouldn't it? N-not that she's calling them 'old', of course not! It's just... Actually, never mind.
... Xion seemed to be doing that a lot lately. Dismissing even her own thoughts like she was talking to someone.
Though an angel... There were so many different views on angels that Xion could never really tell which one was the real one, or better yet what all the similarities were. However, she always though if she ever saw an angel she would have saw their wings. The fact that she couldn't, as Pronia stated, left her somewhat sad. She always pictured them to be beautiful looking, and ever since coming here, part of her thought she might have had the chance... Guess that was wrong.
Though as she listened to the rest, and then listened to one girl, the first year thought someone else could go before her. After all, she wasn't really one to jump up to something the moment she was offered. Though after a moment, the thought crossed her mind that she could go ahead and do it while she had the chance. It would take off a lot of weight, and she already wasn't feeling 100% today to begin with, so less stress, the better.
So she stood, taking a deep breath. "My name's Xion..." Her voice was low, and she knew it. Come on, she wasn't feeling that down. Clearing her throat, the girl tried once more, toning up the volume more. "I'm sorry... I'm Xion Urbain. I'm a first year here, though I'm not really centered on becoming anything yet... Um..." She had to say something about herself... "I, uh... Well, really, I'm not very good at this stuff. Intros, I mean... It's not that I don't like people though. I just have a time trying to get the words out so..."
Okay, now she was just looking like one of those awkward, shy girls. But with one more deep breath, she got as much of her act together as she could. "I... guess I'm kind of into some sports? Mostly just skateboarding and snowboarding, though. Nothing really big worth mentioning... But I do have a guardian that works here. Sol, a night councilor. Some of you might have seen him around." Honestly, that last part was something big, but she didn't feel right flaunting the fact that she had a dragon as a guardian.
But to the important part. "But when it comes to 'good morals'... I don't think I can say anything different from what you two already said. I mean, it's... What's the word? It's... well, just different depending from where and who. Mine, if I can say, is just that I believe 'good' morals comes from what is right. Like what is right for someone. But what I heard before, and it kind of stuck with me, is that the right thing isn't what's best for one. It's what's best for you, those close, and everyone else around you."
It was the best thing she could think of saying, though she wasn't sure if she did it right. Regardless, after she was done Xion simply nodded to show it and then sat down. Hopefully she wouldn't have to do any more speeches for a bit.
