HISTORY Masego was born in the hot savanna's of Kwame as the third prince of the Royal family. Masego's birth was one of great appreciation and anticipation, the coming of a son that would lead their great lands to new heights. Given the name Masego which meant "Divine Favor", Masego's childhood life was filled with learning how to be a proper king and more importantly....how to hunt like one. The people of the Tau tribe much like Masego had the ability to transform into a Lion, their guardian deity. As a young boy Masego was taught how to channel this ability to the surface, not only to hunt but as a rite of passage between the males of his family. At the age of ten Masego participated in the hunting games of the Tau tribe, like many other boy of his age. Amongst the watchers were his father and two older brothers which were looking forward to their brother passing each test. After a day of rigorous hunting, obstacle courses and fighting, Masego and four others had passed the tests and went on to become men of the land. As time went on, Masego went to study the Kwame ways of being a King, wanting to take over after his fathers passing or him stepping down from leading which at first confused his father. Masego continued to speak to his father on what it took to lead the people and continue to keep things right, his father only telling him that a King that leads his people must also lead himself while being there for his people. These words had at first confused Masego, but as time went on and age grew on him he finally learned the meaning of his father's words. As his father died of old age, the tribe collectively made a decision to make Masego the Eighth king of the Tau and Kwame at the age of Nineteen. A year after his father's death and the claiming of the throne, Masego lead the tribe much like his father which had made the people happy but he had still been missing something. It was during a time where Kwame had their annual summer festivals, he had overheard a conversation and actually talked to a person about Eden and its schools. After a long conversation about its unique cultures and diverse natures that it had intrigued him. After consulting his brothers and the Kwame council, it was decided that he would go to Eden to not only experience the diversity of the school, but to also learn valuable skills to lead their people into a better time. Now Masego has arrived to Eden and enrolled in the Institute where he hopes that he can become a better king to his people.
