The Fall breeze was cool, but it didn't have the bite of Winter just yet. This time of the year was Rai's favorite, not because of the changing of colors, or the dull smell of the local harvest, but because of the cooler weather. Despite his love for the cold, he still had a jacket on, hood up, as he stepped out of the Campus House, courtesy of Eris and Rai's induction into her inner circle of Knights. His sword rested behind him, sheathed up on his back as he strolled down the sidewalk into the rural portion of the campus. He was taking the long way around to get breakfast, having decided that the fresh air should do him some good. He let his mind wander a little, thinking about the past few weeks and what he had accomplished. He was on the fast track of becoming a Knight, getting stronger and more skilled the more he trained, but something felt out of place.
He loved what he was doing now, and, he was less bitter and hateful than he was. He hadn't seen Riku since he had the break down a couple months back, and he really needed to get back in touch with him. He hadn't seen Ri in even longer. Despite all the short comings he had with his brothers, he figured that meeting up with them was more than overd-
Rai was then yanked backwards as a truck blew past where he was standing, an older man, random civilian had grabbed on to his hood and pulled when he saw Rai almost walk into the middle of the street. After making sure Rai was ok, the man left, and Rai took a breath, sitting on the corner of the street. He had let his thoughts wander too far, it seemed. He had stood up again, looked both ways this time, and began his trek across the street, giving an extra cautious glance both ways as he crossed.

Autumn, a season she didn't actually know much of, or more she hadn't really experienced enough to say she understood it fully and any memory she had of this season was all but dashed against the rocks of time eroded and useless.
Today she was off in to town, she needed to grab a few things for her next class. A smile was absent, she rarely smiled as it was and given how things were looking in the future to come, it seemed so bleak. Not that she'd tell anyone that. It'd cause panic and that was the last thing she wanted to do. So instead she kept it to herself. All the angels above likely knew that the end was coming at some point soon and so did she.
It was as she was crossing the street that it happened, a man yanked another out the way of a moving vehicle and Pronoia frowned a little. She didn't appreciate death, so that mans act of kindness restored a little faith in humanity. She did however recognize the young man that was saved from inevitable death and so she followed after him.
"... Are you always so... Lax when it comes to your own safety or is there something on your mind perhaps?" She yawned a little then she snuggled down in the winter coat she wore. She made herself known, her bag resting on her arm as she walked along beside the young man.
"You should be more careful, life is not something to be squandered away."

Rai gazed out into nothing for the moment, that was, until a calm voice disrupted his nirvana, causing him to look over towards her in an apathetic expression he didn't even know he wore. He took in her words, and looked away, reflecting on them. Yes, indeed he did have things on his mind, there was no doubt about that. Riku being distant and busy with his new life. Ri returning from a crusade that was impulsive and stupid. Iane punching him across a patch of field on the grounds by accident. And now, his dreams had grown restless. The lack of sleep hadn't effected him that much, at least, not as much as his distracting thoughts had, but he was indeed bogged down by how life was going at the moment. The only absolute positive things were his training with Eris' knights, and, even more important, his relationship with Iane. Ri was right. It didn't matter if she had gone feral and tore him limb from limb. Something in his heart told him that she was a keeper, so keep her he will.
He took another second and finally spoke. "Yeah, guess you're right. I've got a lot on my mind. I'm sure it'll all sort itself out, but... these past couple years have been slightly rough and difficult to deal with." he crossed his arms and let out a small sigh, the cool, crisp air biting his ears. He paid no mind.
"I feel like where I wanted to be in life is... I dunno... The wrong path." he furrowed his eyebrows and chuckled. "Nevermind, I'm just rambling... Like I said, it's nothing! Nothing to worry about..." he already knew that if his denial was more obvious, he would have been screaming NO!! at the top of his lungs. But he didn't care.

"Yeah, guess you're right." It took him a moment but he spoke finally. If he hadn't she'd have simply left him alone and been well on her way to gather the items she came in to town for.
"I've got a lot on my mind." She arched a brow at that, usually people would either get straight to the point or just ignore it as if they didn't actually have a problem. Like she did.
"I'm sure it'll all sort itself out, but... these past couple years have been slightly rough and difficult to deal with." She blinked and tilted her head, her footsteps all but utterly silent, her wings hidden to the normal people but making each step she took utterly silent as she barely even touched the ground to begin with. She didn't say anything not even to interrupt, instead listening, perhaps with a morbid sense of curiosity.
"I feel like where I wanted to be in life is... I dunno... The wrong path." That made her tilt her head.
"Nevermind, I'm just rambling... Like I said, it's nothing! Nothing to worry about..."
"Perhaps you should consult the angel of prophecy, he should be able to see where your true path is..." She stated with a rather, serious tone.
"I am sorry that you do not feel your life is headed in the right direction, though unless you consult him, the only one who can change your fate.... Is you. It is not decided for you. You make your own fate and that, is the truth. You can change your future by even the simplest choice." Her voice was gentle and she offered a small smile, then she stopped walking for a moment and headed in to a store to grab the items she needed. If he wanted to follow he could, she wouldn't stop him, why would she? Besides, he'd probably think she was crazy because of what she said so she really couldn't and wouldn't blame him if he ignored her ramblings.
That and he couldn't possibly see her wings so he couldn't possibly know that she was in fact, an angel. Unless of course he'd heard of her name and she introduced herself as such.

Rai stopped when she mentioned the Angel of Prophecy. Wait, that's a thing? There are Angels? He looked at her for a moment, trying to decide if she was joking, nuts, or serious.
"I am sorry that you do not feel your life is headed in the right direction, though unless you consult him, the only one who can change your fate.... Is you. It is not decided for you. You make your own fate and that, is the truth. You can change your future by even the simplest choice."
He crossed his arms, slightly apprehensive. Who was this lady?
"... So, who is this Angel of Prophecy?" he asked, his curiosity getting the best of him. He had followed her into the shop, not really paying attention to what kind of shop it was. Her statements intrigued him, and piqued his interest much like when Eris offered him a chance to fight as one of her Knights. But, Angels. He knew that demons roamed around, and everyone who had half a brain knew what Eeste was. But, he never really believed that Angels would even bother to come around, especially to a place where every fourth person you saw was a demon or demon-like.
"So... do you know this guy?" he asked, hands in his pockets. Even if he didn't want this Angel of Prophecy to tell him his path, he sure as hell would like to meet him. Maybe he could at least find out the right direction, the best direction, he could take, and maybe finally prove once and for all that he could be more than just a Sinclair.
