Kadens early childhood and even his early teens were simple, just a normal life like most other average people, though his father did start him training to use a gun and sword at a young age so that he could protect his younger siblings. This carried on through his younger teenage years. He had his first drink with his father, his father got the money together to get him a motorcycle that Kaden's had ever since and he was always there to protect his brothers and sisters till he got a job. Most of the job consisted of him lifting heavy objects and then taking them from city to city because his bike could go long distances easily and at speed.

It was during this that he met a few girls and had a few flings along the way but then he met her. A girl who managed to bind him to her and keep him coming back with how nice she was, though she did mentally abuse him in a sense, making it seem like she really needed him, like things would fall apart without him there. Even going so far as to plan her whole life with him just to keep him from running off. Though she was a nurse and she did treat injuries she also knew how to twist Kaden around her little finger. She couldn't do any wrong and he was going to propose to her.

Till fate got involved and it wasn't meant to be. Both cities the one his family was in, the one his girlfriend was in were attacked and levelled. He was out on a job to the city his girlfriend was in and when he arrived there was no one to be found.

He looked around, he searched but there was no sign of her. It was a ghost town as if everyone just suddenly vanished without a trace.

He headed back home after that, broken, only to find the remains of where his family had been. Again another ghost town. It hadn't even taken a day and everyone was gone. When he searched his home though he found his family. Oh he knows they're dead because he found them in bits all over the place. His mother, father, two little brothers and his younger sister. That particular memory has been blocked from his mind entirely. He just remembers the fact that he knows they're dead. He still has hope for his girlfriend even if she did use and abuse him.

He does remember the plan that he and his girlfriend had though. Go to Eden, join the academy, get in to working at the academy and have a life there in the city that was equal. Instead of being bound by the stupid laws and hate that were within their own cities. It's just a shame she's dead and won't be joining him.

He'll move on though. Because he knows that given the situation she wouldn't want him to be lamenting over her death and he'd feel the exact same way if the roles were reversed.
