Thirteen lives in a world that is concrete and kind, at least in his mind it is. He's warm and kind-hearted, he wants to believe the best of people. He tends to value harmony and cooperation, and is usually likely to be very sensitive to other people's feelings.

Thirteens inner world is rather rich and sadly it is not usually obvious to observers. He's constantly taking in information about people and situations that is personally important to him, and he stores it away. This tremendous store of information is usually startlingly accurate, because of that it makes him a rather good gift giver as he'll remember and take in what those around him like.

He values security and kindness, and respects traditions and laws. He tends to believe that existing systems are there because they work. Therefore, he's not likely to buy into doing things in a new way, unless he's shown in a concrete way why its better than the established method.

He doesn't usually express his own feelings, keeping things inside this is due to the way he's been taught to do things. If these feelings are negative feelings, they may build up inside until they turn into firm judgements against individuals which are difficult to unseed, once set.

Just as he's not likely to express his feelings unless told to do so, he's also not likely to let on that he knows how others are feeling unless it's truly necessary.

Thirteen may come off as withdrawn or perhaps even cold at times but this is not the case at all. He's just extremely wary of others and he has a lot of pent up fear, he will over time open up to those around him, it may even be a sudden or immediate thing that'll happen. More so due to being in the academy and having freedom he didn't have before.

Thirteen is and always has been part of a faerie family that serves as a wealthy families servants. He grew up when he was younger watching and listening to how people were treated and he was eventually taught how to do the same things. Though whenever he ran in to the wealthier families son, he'd always run and hide or go back to the staff quarters, more so if he was caught playing where he shouldn't be.

After eight years of being taught how to do things, he was put in to service under the wealthier family at the age of thirteen, this is how he got his nickname. For the first two years he was just doing menial jobs here and there before he was given a promotion of sorts. Instead of being stuck in the servants quarters he got his own room in the house. The price of this was he would be the families sons butler and thus he would always be at the young mans beck and call for everything and anything he wanted.

He's done his best and due to his trustworthy nature he's even been sent along side Elijah to the academy, more to keep an eye on the young man. However what they don't realize is that his loyalty is to Elijah as he is Elijahs butler not theirs. So he will do what is needed to be done to protect the person he is in service too. So he's here at the academy with Elijah not to spy or report on him but to actually look after him.
