However this does not mean he is naive. He just prefers not to treat people poorly and make enemies out of them when not needed. This does not mean that he will treat someone that attacks him or someone he cares about nicely. On the contrary he will be harsh and uncaring towards those that threaten him or those he cares about as well as being cold to those that generally act unsavory. He also has an outgoing friendly personality that goes hand in hand with his kindness. He also has a more playful side that he generally only shows behind closed doors. Although this doesn't mean he's not playful when in public. He just doesn't show it as much. He tends to only show the playful side in public if he is around someone he knows or with people he's comfortable being with. Eli also happens to be very open and honest with people. The main reason for this being that it's hard for others to keep secrets from him due to his ability. Since others are vulnerable when around him he makes himself vulnerable to others though this can get him in trouble or taken advantage of he doesn't seem to mind it to much. He is also extremely protective. Anyone that harms or threatens those he cares about instantly receives his ire. He also can be very creative in the ways he gets revenge. The Keating name is known all over with many companies being owned or partially owned by them. However Eli has never let his family's wealth go to his head. He actually tries to avoid giving out his last name when possible because he doesn't want people to know. A little known fact is that the Keating family actually has demon heritage. To be more precise a Cat demon. Due to this Eli inherited many traits that one might attribute to a cat. Though he doesn't seem to mind these traits or the habits that go with it. On the contrary he rather enjoys them. Eli is at times seen as the black sheep of the family. The reason for this is that he likes to go out and explore and interact with common folk. He also tends to give any money he has on his possession to the poor which some of his family looks down upon. However he is unbothered by this. He has currently been enrolled in Eden Academy so that he can interact with others in his age group. Unbeknownst to his family Eli has developed an attraction to Thirteen his butler of sorts. When possible he follows him around in a stalking like manner though he doesn't do much to hide the fact that he is following him. He also likes to spend time with him when not under the prying eyes of his family. One of the main reason's he's looking forward to going to EA is because Thirteen will be there with him.
