PERSONALITY TRAITS

Avalon, or Ava as she allows those closer to her to call her, is a very calm woman. She tends to keep this calm through out most things. She has matured through her years and knows that letting anger and hate blind choices it will never end well. The same can be said for pride and overconfidence. She will always be civil and mind her manners and tongue while talking with people. She doesn't wish to cause them any trouble if they cause her none in return. She will even answer any questions that she can actually help with in a calm and even tone. There is however another side to her, another self as she calls it.



When she shifts into this other self, she becomes more blunt and to the point. Sometimes allowing her manners to falter as long as it teaches people the lesson that she feels they needed to learn. She will also become a bit more quick to anger, however this trait has long since been controlled. It will still creep out from time to time if people insult her, or those she cared about. She will also become very stubborn while in this form. Defending people til she is nearly broken and bloody, or fighting until the creature or person she was fighting against is no more than a blood stain. She doesn't let this side control her anymore, it used to a long time ago and it caused some rather bad events. If you see her assume this form, and she does so for your sake? You should feel honored and happy that she would run the risk of losing control, even if its a slim chance. 



She has taken some aspects of the cat on in her human form, purring and growling at times when the proper reasons are there. Her eyes are also in the shape of a cats. This, of course, leads to the fact that she has times of heightened lust and desires. When this happens she tends to keep herself away from most people, as she doesn't want to do anything to them that she, or they would regret in the near future. If she DOES stay around someone when she is like this? It shows that she trusts them and that she is interested in them as well. But you better be careful. She can get quite rough if she's really far gone into this state.

Avalon was born to a small group of people that could shift into different animal forms. She was blessed with that of the tiger. And from an early age they were always trained to control the other side of themselves regardless of what happens around them. Some had trouble with this, some never learned and they were hunted by the humans and killed because of what they had done. This is where things started to become chaotic for the at the time, young woman. The humans started to get more and more angry with those that couldn't control themselves that they lashed out against the entire group. Hunting and killing all the ones that they could get to. She was sent away from the group away from the area that they were doing all of this in. And that would be the last time she saw any of them, as all of them, including her mother and father were killed.





Because of all of this, she started to lose control of herself, she started to let the beast side of herself be in control. And she would often times black out and then she would come around to have blood on her hands. This would cause her to scream and flee the area. After this happened for a few years, she left any populated areas and out into the wild learning to become one with her other self again, to relearn control, to know what balance and serenity was. And she spent a long time out there like this, making sure to never lose that control again. She didn't enjoy the blood on her hands, she didn't enjoy losing her control. She wanted to be someone that could help people with her gifts, she wanted to be a person that others counted on to make sure they were alright. She didn't want to be a killer. But it was hard to deny the beast within even after learning control.



And after all of this time of being out in the wilds, she came back to the human cities and countries to place herself back into society and be around people. But during all of this she never lost touch with her mature state of being, and after coming back from the wilds she gained a very calm air about her. She doesn't let anger or hate guide her actions, she doesn't run on pride or anything else of the nature. She even would shift into her other form to make sure to keep control over it, it was a matter of making herself better than the others that lost their lives because they couldn't control it. She didn't wish to die because of what she was, she wanted to be part of the human culture, to be part of its world. And that's why she rejoined the world in Eden City and placed an application into the academy to be a guard for a place called the Red Zone. A place that housed monsters, a place that she could possibly allow her beast self to come out and play. It would let her keep other people safe, and help her keep her control over herself. Perhaps she could even find something more here. And that is just what she'll try. Finding more, something more to protect, something precious to hold dear.
