PERSONALITY TRAITS

Amrit (Amree) is what one would call outgoing and definitely joyful. She's active, playful, a lot of fun to be around but is on the other hand extremely girly, if she wears a dress she has to have it match her shoes or some other part of her outfit. She loves fashion almost to a fault, it wouldn't be out of character for her to drag a complete stranger shopping and fit them with clothing that actually makes them look good and doesn't clash. She cares... But perhaps a little too much. She may at some point be called the fashion police.

She's the type that will over react to flies or insects in general (apart from spiders) being horribly afraid of them and dogs. Dogs are one of her greatest fears because one bit her when she was younger and savaged her right leg, the scars are mostly gone now.

Amrit is extremely flirtatious and will flirt with both men and women even if she will only date guys she finds it fun to flirt or maybe even at times act coy and shy when someone flirts with her out of the blue and she didn't start it.

Amrit was born as the eldest child of a rather happy couple. Happy they had a son they were a happy little family. Until they were bless with a second child. Amrit was three at the time so he didn't understand why they favoured the other boy over him. He started to amuse himself with random toys and generally became rather quiet and kept out of sight. When his mother asked him why he was hiding he said it was because they didn't want him any more and the two parents had never been so heart broken to hear that. They'd neglected their first child so much that he thought they hated him.

His mother soon explained that they did love him, it was just that the new baby, his baby brother needed a lot of care and couldn't do things for himself just yet. After that Amrit started to help as much as he could.

By the time Amrit was seven years old he was helping to do most of the house chores and was able to cook his own breakfast without any problems. It was during this year that his parents noticed something rather... Odd. About their child. Watching him as he played with the other children he only seemed to socialise with girls. He wasn't interested with playing the boys games, he'd rather play with ponies and dolls and other rather girly things they just passed it off as a phase. When he began asking for a girls school uniform for his primary school when he was ten they knew something was extremely wrong. Taking him for counselling they were told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with him, he was just very feminine for a boy. They took him back again out of worry when he was thirteen because he'd told them about the crush he had... On a boy. Again nothing wrong with him.

He was sixteen when he decided that he wanted a sex change. The most defining reason being he felt more comfortable in womens clothing and with his now rather long hair. By the time he was eighteen he got that sex change and he has been so much happier since he had it. Now she's been in the institute for just over a year now. The whole family moved here to Eden so she could go because she wouldn't be subjected to hatred just because she opted to change her gender due to her personality and preferences.

With her entire family being supportive she hopes this coming year will be fun.
