Ark may seem to be rather rough around the edges and a bit of a smartass, but that's really just to keep his walls up so people don't get too close. He has it set in his mind that when people figure out just what he is, they'll turn on him at the drop of a hat and try to kill him. And thus, he tends to keep people at arm's length. However, he can show his truer self to the right people. He still has honor and won't kill those that don't deserve it, enemy or not.



He does, however, have a very potent and deep running hate for the group of scientists for doing what they did to him. This hate will sometimes get the best of him and cause him to lash out at those around him. Though, he will feel bad for it afterwards, and will try to explain why it happened, even if that means revealing just what he is. He likes to party, have a good time, and overall, just be himself. He doesn't take well to being ordered around by anyone, thanks to all the years spent being a test subject.



But under all of this, he's a kind and understanding person. Those that are interested or want to get to know him just need to be patient and break down those walls. But once they come down for a person they don't go back up.

Ark was born to a semi successful family of military standing. This being said he was trained from an early age on the rules of battle, the dictates of honor and how to wield a few types of weapons. After reaching his teen years he was sent over seas in hopes that he would be able to make it into their elite fighting forces and bring even more honor to his family. However, all of that was going to become a very distant dream in a matter of moments, or so it seemed to him.



He was told that he needed to undergo certain trails and tests to make sure he was truly able to handle everything that being a soldier in this army meant. However, this was all lies to get him to agree to undergo what the science team at the time wanted him for. And as soon as he agreed to undergo all of this, that was when everything changed. He never saw his family again, as they were attacked and killed in a minor skirmish that broke out near their home. And he wouldn't even hear of this until after the experiments where done with.



And these experiments? They pushed his body and mind to the limit and beyond many times, breaking him, over and over because what they were after was something that had only been done once before. They would keep him alive, and continue the tests for what seemed like decades. Though he remembered all of the pain and agony that he was put through. And toward the end of all of this, they told him what he had become. A man made vampire. A creature that was stronger than any normal human, he wouldn't age, however, in order to keep his life? He now needed to feed off the blood of other living humans. And this....This caused his rage to peak. He started to fight them off and breakaway, however they subdued him and locked him away.



They would come to try to use him within the army time and time again, but he would always disobey orders and save the innocent people that were getting involved over just killing them. Because of all of this, and because the army didn't wish to destroy all their work, they discharged him and sent him off on his own. They knew that he wouldn't be able to tell anyone about what had happened, because he hadn't been fully aware during most of it. It was at this time that he came to Eden when the Academy was still young. He decided to ditch the military for all times and take up the role of teaching, of helping young people learn things they would need to know. And for years now that is where he has been. Teaching at the Academy, and helping those that he feels need it.
